Roh_Chris had the best ones so far. That made me giggle. And I'm a guy who's not prone to giggling.

I can't imagine why you wouldn't be able to do so. My best-friend-who-is-not-Angie is an agnostic (who was formerly a die-hard athiest), and we've had decent conversations for almost two decades now. :p
Oh, I wasn't being cynical! My childhood buddy is an agnostic also, and he's far from volatile about the subject; good times, good talks.

There are these two kids at work that I do not like.

One has a poor work ethic and never brings a positive attitude to work. The other lives in his own little world and seems sort of spineless/not assertive or confident.

I feel like I should make a better effort to like them, but all I've mustered for them is tolerance.

Any thoughts and/or advice on this are welcome via PM (PM so that it doesn't derail this thread).

P.S. It's Thursday! Only one more day...

It refreshes me to know that, each time I didn´t like a person, half a dozen don´t like me either.

I'm beginning to like thunderstorms. However, my dog doesn't feel the same way.

Hmm, I guessing it has to do with that? Once lunch has ended, your thoughts turn to dinner do they not? :)

I definitely overworked myself last night, and it definitely wasn't fun.
I'm moving tomorrow and need to clean up after we move everything out. I'm scared of overworking myself again though. Hopefully, my Facebook plea for help will bring out a few helpful women (or men, depending on how well those men can clean).

Sorry man. The best I can tell you is I ignore them, focus on doing my job as well as I can and try to get through the day working around them. We have more than our share where I work and that is the best I can come up with to deal with them.

And there really isn't any way to derail this thread, by its very nature...

It's really more personal than it is a hindrance. Not much interaction is required, but sometimes we have to correspond. I do appreciate the tip, still.

The OP had mentioned keeping the thread as a sort of place for word vomit or a kind of blog to each their own. I didn't want to deviate much from that by initiating an ongoing thing was all.

Thanks, Linux Lynx. :)

Speaking of computer stuff... AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRGH!!!!!!

Last night the pastor mentioned the computer he used in his office seemed to have developed a problem. Standard web browser hijacker, started with an obviously fake (well, to me it was obvious) invitation to update java, when he got tired of seeing it he finally clicked on it, now his browser takes him to mostly advertisement sites.

"What antivirus are you using?"

"Well it had um... what was that called... McAffee, but it was a trial version."

*Lynx goes off to resume beating his head against the wall.

Thud.

Thud.

Thud.

It's actually kind of soothing.

I don't really have anti-virus on my computer anymore. I have a somewhat working AVG, and ad-block plus. Ad-block plus has done just fine in keeping everything away.
