Friends lately.

Friend 1 - A new friend makes me feel used and cast aside like i'm nothing afterwards. But i'm somehow the bad guy.
Friend 2 - Despite knowing me a long time and knowing i think highly of them, they interpreted everything i said in an email in the worst ways, and continue to do so despite my trying to explain they are misunderstanding.
Friend 3 - We came to an agreement that we should not talk on a regular basis, but were still on friendly terms. Yet months after not talking i send one email, that just had something funny in it and nothing more, and was regarded with in what felt like suspicion and accusation.

These are the kinds of things i so often deal with. Sometimes i wonder why i waste my time with people at all. If i'm not being used by 'friends' then they will find some way to think poorly of me no matter what i do.

Hello, again, friends! I've been in sunny/wet Queensland, Australia for the past week. I attended EasterFest 2015 (a Christian musical festival) in Toowoomba. Met up with some old friends and made some new ones. Then I spent a few days in Brisbane, seeing the sights. I had a good time, but I'm glad to be back home.

Really learning consistency and learning to get a bit thicker skin lately. It's good for me, and I think working from home has been very good for me. :)

Loving life right now. House is quiet, kitty is laying on my hip (I'm on my side). She seems quite confy.

Be yourself and make some new friends. Obviously the ones you have are either not really your friend or they don't understand you. There are 8 billion people in the world - someone out there will get you and think you are worth having as a friend.

If you can't make new friends then maybe you should consider asking the question Why?

Kitty lying on hip calls for a 'Hip rotation' manoeuvre. Slowly, without waking up the kitty, turn over sideways. If the kitty wakes up with a start, roll over it quickly. The objective of this manoeuvre is to smother the kitty before it can wake up. :p

Would you follow your own advice and abandon your old friends if you were in his position? Everyone needs a friend to stick with them through their rough times and I would trust Ugly to be that kind of friend for me or anyone else he has befriended. When you take friendship that seriously, you're a little more selective in who you call friend and you don't just go out and randomly make a bunch of new friends quickly.

Looks like nobody is available on Fridays. I have ONE person willing to help me clean up. Either I don't have a lot of friends in Utah, or someone's hiding.
My poor husband has had to deal with two days of me overworking myself. But I don't think he really got the idea of all "overworked " meant until last night.
