Lol. I got to laugh. I lived in a christian community for 1.5 years and there is nothing easy or sensible about that. People are people and just need space. It is not the government or external pressures that make society fail, it is individual sin and disfunctional behaviour and how we handle it. You know anyone who is creating a "new" group has lost the plot of who they are, and what is wrong with the group. I always find it instructive Jesus called his people to go live their lives in his power, not set up seperate communities which only the "special" are allowed to join. Most parents quickly learn their children are not the "special" ones they hoped they would be, and they have to learn how to love them even so, which some seem to achieve, which is a miracle in itself.
Welcome to Speak Your Mind thread please come often and do so.....Blond welcoming committee.....

let me explain. 7 people went to prom and stayed until it was over. All except 1 were Christians, nothing bad happened with this group. It lasted until midnight from 9:00 on, it was only those 7. Most went to parties with drugs and alcohol....this one small group was so excited they got to play with Legos all night....so for the next week the only two topics of conversation were these illegal parties and Legos....
Kody, my younger sister, my brothers & I loved sharing these toys back in the day. :) And the games... man, we played so many crazy games. Anyone remember Rock'em Sock'em Robots? ...lol

I loved that show and Chrissy was my favorite of the roommates and I definitely loved the Ropers, especially the whole "tinkerbell' thing and Mr. Ropers hot cocoa.
I think every atrocious color combination in the world was discovered, and slapped on Mrs. Ropers moo moo's!

I think we still have one in a closet somewhere...all 4 of us had the same one. Come up and visit and you can play with our old one. If you need an excuse, you can help my niece. :p

Then sit back after and enjoy a cup off coffee and ask yourself.."If one synchronized swimmer drowns, do the rest have to drown too?"...

So Slave Do you thing this is where the phrase

Sink or swim baby..... came from?

Hope you didn't have to give up too much $$ to IRS.

I think so too. I actually liked their style of clothing back then except for her moo moo's. The sad part is they don't make shows like that anymore. I don't like what they have on anymore, one reason why I am not watching much tv. I would rather watch a movie that I have seen before. I actually had a bad experience watching a movie in the theater in October that was not a good movie and I lost the thrill of watching tv, but that is a good thing, so I can focus on doing better things.

Get married, have kids, buy LiteBrite for them, and then when they're in school, you get to play with it all day. :D
