Thanks Seoul! You write a lot of threads I enjoy too. I'm glad I didn't offend anyone by posting this thread. I would just like people to think before they react. I know I'm guilty of thinking, "again, that thread?" I don't say anything but I've thought it.

You know I do wonder if that man has ever found his missing rip?

Most times I look at the dates and check out the profile of the person who posted the thread. Sometimes I don't. I mean, if it's relevant and interesting, why not post a comment? Although some old threads need to be taken out of commission for good.

Yes, and that's all very true. And I absolutely agree that we need to be more welcoming of people, but there's something to be said for people not using the Search function though, when it's there, more visible than day itself. Seriously, it's not just a decoration.

You know what, I used to be the first one to stick up for newbies who I felt were treated unfairly in here but after awhile I gave it up because I realized that doing so just makes ME the target because suddenly I am the one who is being insensitive to those who I think were insensitive and then it becomes a standoff between those who agree with me and those who think I was being overly critical.. so yea.
