Then I'm confused. You argue a lot on here. Then again, I'm mostly sure you're a big teddy bear. Like you've a big, bad persona, you hate people, and you channel Clint Eastwood a lot, but with an emotional pressure washing you'd be a big teddy bear.

In fact, I'm sure of it.
I'd pay to see wisebeardman be not grumpy. :p

So it's been a really long day, I've been up since 1 in the morning, had to work, and was flipping through a book about candle-making as a way to relax.

I then went to a website recommended in the book for suggestions of various color/scent combinations and what kinds of characteristics they can supposedly evoke.

Tired as I am, my brain (as usual) has a way of mashing things together, such as, "strength", and, "adaptability." Being the great genius that I am, my mind skipped over these two words and somehow came up with "stupidity."

I immediately thought, "Who on earth would want to make and burn a candle that promotes 'stupidity'!!???"

And then I was thinking... Maybe I shouldn't burn so many candles... Or maybe not any at all.

This is what happens when you burn your candle at both ends! :p

Yeast free, gluten free FLUFFY bread? Oh boy. I MAY have a line on such a bread, but I think it's more of a tortilla/flat bread thing that one of my girlfriends was investigating for her grandkids. That said? May I ask if there is a reason you must have a sandwich bread? So many of us with special food issues have to use work-arounds or change the ideas we have of traditional food and how it looks (as I'm sure you know)

By the way? I am talking from experience. I'm unable to eat gluten and a baker who's line is exclusively gluten free, unfortunately my bread has yeast.)
Because I'd like a bread I can use in sandwiches, that my husband can use as well. My husband usually takes sandwiches for his lunches for work, I'd like a sandwich now and then, and I've been trying to stop with the processed wheat stuff.
Are you gluten-intolerant?

I can message you some mixes or frozen already-made breads that my sister and I like.
I'm not gluten intolerant, I just got over a problem with a candida overgrowth, and I really don't want it back.
My mom was also showing me a diet that is supposed to help me not gain too much weight during pregnancy, and helps burn it off faster after, and wheat was one of the grains that were cut out of it. Yeast is the part that I'm scared will bring the candida back, or a worse infection.

Okay. :)

Well, I found a mix and a pre-made loaf you might be interested in. Just know that gluten-free breads are extremely different. The way you mix things, the way you prepare everything...it's like learning a new language. It'll take a lot of trial and error, and I still haven't even fully figured it out. I've never tried these brands specifically, either. Lemme know if you want the links to them!

So my ex is married, it seems. Good for her.

Sometimes I want to die. No joke, sadness of it aside, etc. Of course, I'm not ever actually going to die. :p I feel ready for life to be over, though. I also feel like drinking myself into a silly stupor right now, but I digress.

ANYWAY, moving on: I think I'm going to take Friday off of work. My trip to Maui fell through (was planning on leaving on May 1st), or at least needs to be postponed, but I'm going to take Friday off anyway. Booya.

I am. I bake for my small gf business. :) I have a dedicated facility and everything. I can't tolerate xanthan gum either, so most commercial products won't work for me. :(

I just witnessed a guy trash his BMW X1. Mr. Smarty Pants thought he could drive over some rubble left on the side of the road. His front bumper got stuck in the rubble and he had to back his car out of it. I sat in my car, watching with absolute horror written on my face.

Well, I'll give you a few links, but yeast-free breads and gluten free grains don't work at all like gluten and yeasty breads... you won't be able to judge them 1:1. Doesn't taste the same, doesn't look the same... none of it.

That said: Here are a few links you can try. I've tried NONE of them, but my friend found these:
Hope For Healing: Soft and Chewy Baguette Bread (gluten, dairy, yeast, nut and sugar-free)
The Gluten Free Spouse: Gluten Free, Egg Free, Yeast Free Bread

Sorry you are having such a bad day. I don't know you that well, but that's never stopped me from offering e-hugs to people when they sound like they need them.

On the slightly brighter side, you can only have one worst day of your life. If this was it then all the other days from here on out will be better. (yeah, I'm not good at being comforting, that's why I stick with the e-hugs).

Ah, such is life. I do appreciate the encouragement, though. You're a blessing, cinder. :)

Erm. That's not the way to comfort someone. I would chuck a pie at you if you told me something like that. (J/k... :p)

Methinks, you should stick to the e-hugs.

Oh yum pie. Pumpkin, blueberry or apple are my favorites or just something with a lot of whipped cream.

But why do you think my logic is lacking in comfort?

Silly old bear.

You think I'd chuck your favourite pie at you?

You have little clue about how evil I am. :p

Well shoot. I read seoulsearch's post and I was thinking I have got to make this joke. Then I find someone beat me to it.

Siberian: I hear the temptation to drink oneself into a silly stupor is very strong at times like that. From what I have observed though, it never ends well that way. Either you have tried it before and remember how not-worth-it it was, or you have learned from the mistakes of others as I have, but either way it's a good thing you didn't take care of your pain that way. As one B.C. comic said, "What's the best way to avoid a hangover?" "A well remembered precedent."

In local news, this is going to be a caffeine powered day for me. I got about 4 hours sleep, then my sinuses wouldn't let me sleep any longer. Bleh. Oh well, coffee is free at work and I have my 85% cocoa chocolate bars.

Yes, I am keeping well. :)

It must be midnight where you are. Don't worry about the crazies here. I will keep an eye on them while you are gone. :p
