Take a look at Baltimore. What happened there? The city council tells the police to keep their distance so they, and the clergy can talk and pray with the protesters. The cops continue to back off, and the city continues to be pillaged and burned. If the cause of this is the church not preaching enough grace, could one say that the hearers of the Word will be more graceful to the business owners and the police? If law enforcement is told to vacate because of the lawless, what will be the end result?
It seems we have gotten to the point that big city law enforcement and councils don't even know God's law because the church does not minister it, let alone secular law, in order to achieve peace. My question is, 'if the law is for the lawless, what in the world causes us to think that the church needing to preach more grace will bring peace and hold off the judgment that is now being exacted upon a rebellious nation?' It's in our face and many religious people still hold to the separation of church and state. Think about God's way to deter crime. It would work because it's right!!!
The Bible calls people who tolerate corruption, and drug dealers (wizards) are also worshipers of Molech. Do we tolerate/compromise in the name of love and grace?
Leviticus 20:2-8
[SUP]2 [/SUP]Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]
And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:
[SUP]5 [/SUP]
Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after
wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]
Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the Lord your God.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the Lord which sanctify you.
Sanctify = set apart as or declare holy; consecrate, make legitimate or binding by religious sanction, and free from sin; purify.
Deuteronomy 13:1-5
1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, [SUP]
2 [/SUP]And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for
the Lord your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the Lord your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the Lord thy God commanded thee to walk in.
So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.
