Using the same logic, you should ignore the Scriptures as well, for most of Scriptures speaks of Hell and condemnation. Jason is only trying to warn a generation that thinks a little bit of sinning is NOT OK. It is written a little bit a leaven will leaven the whole lump. It is also written a good tree does not produce any bad fruit. ANY bad fruit. So you may be ignoring the very person who is trying to help you. Usually people who have a problem with the sinning, are those who are not willing to cease from them.
Is it so wrong about teaching against sin to a carnal generation? i mean i would not teach against drinking alcohol to a group who never drank, now would i? So then it is only right and just to teach against sinning to a group who continue to live in sin, and use Jesus Christ as an excuse to continue to live in those sins. When Scriptures plainly teach whose sins are washed by HIs Blood.
1Jn 1:7 But IF (Conditional) we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
When does the Blood of Jesus Christ cleanseth us from all sin? Man teaches as soon as you get Saved, all your sins past, present, and future are forgiven, but Scriptures teach contrary to what men teach, Scriptures teach the blood of Jesus cleanseth us from all sin when we are walking in the light as Jesus did. Anyone who knowingly and willingly commits sin is NOT walking in the light, but in darkness, therefore not cleansed by His Blood. Seems to me, those who doubt that Truth, it would be in their best interest to study the Scriptures for themselves and see if these things are true or not, instead of hearkening to men and what they teach. Your Salvation is at stake here. You can either believe men and what they teach or believe the Scriptures and what they teach, the chose is yours to make.
