Hindus literally worship thousands of gods.
most Buddhists do not worship any god at all. those that do are for the most part, Hindu (Gautama Buddah was a Hindu), recognizing literally thousands of gods, for some, even millions.
they most certainly do not worship or know the same God who says "I am the way" and "no one comes to the Father except through me."

Really? So what did Jesus mean when HE said...I am GOING away and then COMING again that I may recieve you unto myself?
If he never left why does the bible speak of his COMING BACK and his yet FUTURE Body presence.....?

i just have been very direct (it seemed when i tried to be more 'gentle' , they compounded their sin then by defending it more... even if others already had 'gently' with scripture shown them jesus' way in and by HIS WORD. )
some have very clearly been defending a false doctrine, which i 'know' or realize they cannot let go of too easily - it's part of their 'safety net' / 'support system'....

i've been praying over time to proceed with better approach IF THERE IS ONE.

You guys think that there is only one one God religion in the world. Well maybe 2. Jews and Christians. It's not so. Egypt is where it began. The were the first to believe in one God. The Jews learned it from them. God helped them because they were in slaved. They took it to mean they were his chosen. I don't think God liked that analogue. Conseit is a sin. Any kind of conceit is a sin. That is the lesson we should have learned from the persecution of the Jews. At least that's what I get from it. What do you think? Those are the reasons I said it.

That's probably the best post I have ever seen you write. And, I think you will find a better way. How can you not, since you are looking for one, and Jesus won't leave you in the cold looking for it.
I've talked to people in each of those religions. They told me they worship one God. I don't think they had any reason to lye to me because I didn't tell them I was a Christian for the reason you give. There is no tolerance for other religious believes in most Christians. Why is that?
