Mine isn't really sweet. In fact, I use half the sugar of a regular cheesecake.

but Siberian...you can PLAY with your mouth full, yes?

Heck, if you can supply the cheesecake, I can supply the jingles. ;)

Ah, so it's probably really good then.

The overly sweet cheesecakes are almost intoxicatingly sweet. I eat almost no sugar any more, so I guess I'm more sensitive to it than most people, but they are super sweet. Enough to put a guy to sleep almost.

I would LOVE visitors! I sample... so it'd be fun for all. lol

I think today I'm sampling 6 savory/appetizer flavors, and 10 dessert flavors.

I just got invited to a party which has the theme of "1955," because the husband is 60 years old.

And I have no poodle skirt.

MAN I'm getting a headache from Old Testament studying. But it's good. I need to be more educated on this stuff. Not only is it good for me to know, but it's probably good for witnessing purposes, too.

I'm watching Say Yes To The Dress. There is this woman on there who is so snotty to her Mother that if I was her Mom I'd take myself and credit card and leave. This woman's budget is 10,000 dollars for her gown, that's ridiculous and she's ridiculous. I think she's Veruca Salt all grown up.

I LOVE MY JOB!!

Almost all of my favorite elderly customers came out today, and I haven't heard that anyone (else) died this winter (wow, harsh reality, huh?). The ones who weren't here were ill with minor colds or travelling. I'm always glad to see their delightful faces at the end of a long winter.

Met a few new people, was recognized as a Christian and was able to share Jesus stuff with a young 20-something couple. LOVE LOVE LOVE my job! Plus our God is kinda awesome too!

They did not have any tuna. *such a conspiracy, I tell you*

I had to settle for roasted chicken, double-toasted with cheese. :p
A conspiracy indeed. This is their effort in trying to dumb down the nation, by taking away brain food! Then they brain wash us with dancing roast chicken.

It's a scary world, I say.

It's a blessing and a curse. :p I love some of the sauces, sweets, and desserts we have here. Some of those a little TOO much, though. Especially since they use such awful sweeteners for them. And like you'd love to try some things that are popular in America, I'd LOVE to try some of the things that are popular in Australia but don't have here in America as far as I know (Tim Tams. Enough said...I think it's a must that I try these at some point in my life).

One of my favorite desserts is (don't ask me why it's called this) Grasshopper pie (contains NO grasshoppers)! It's a mint and chocolate frozen dessert and it is highly addicting.

Easy Grasshopper Pie Recipe | Taste of Home

That looks like an amazing pie! Ah, that's another thing Americans do so well, pies! I think Australians are well known for pavlovas and lamingtons, but lamingtons are pretty basic and aren't that great.

I will admit, though, Tim Tams are pretty amazing. I'm lactose intolerant but I will ruin my stomach lining for some of those.

I love pavlova, but almost no one here has ever had one and they don't understand it. (What's to understand? Meringue, GOOD. Whipped cream, GOOD. Fruity sauce, GOOD!) In fact, I'm making one for an event later this month with lemon curd or rhubarb curd if I can find rhubarb by then.

I don't know what a lamington is... please share a recipe?

Olerica: I vote for lemon curd.

And... did you say savory cheesecakes? You gotta talk to Shouryu. (He's the guy with the red horse with a hat in his avatar.) He's big on savory cheesecakes.
