I have only read the OP so far.
My response to it is:
Grace is an attribute, not an object.
It can refer to any action of charity by God.
The grace referred to in Titus is the sending of Christ to earth. It is by this grace (gift to mankind) that all men are saved.
This verse is not talking about the grace involved in election, or about the grace involved in granting faith to those who would believe.
Understanding "by Grace alone" requires understanding the meaning of the word grace.
Perhaps you would understand the phrase better if put into layman's terms:
It is only by the charity of God that men are saved.
