Boy howdy, I do. I absolutely love cold water, I have to have it wherever I go.

A month ago I was drinking about an ounce of water each day. Most of my liquid intake was in coffee. I am trying to live healthier now so I drink a 23.7 ounce bottle of water each day. You are right, it is not easy as I find water to be boring. Avoid drinking tap water as it contains fluoride and chlorine and it is not healthy for you. Tap water that is filtered should be alright.

that's true,I have well water,so I never drink tap water.

My city has an artesian well, the water company always fighting saltwater incursions into our drinking water.

I usually drink right around one gallon a day (128 oz.), but my nutritionist says it needs to be closer to two gallons. ( 256 oz.) Sometimes I manage a gallon and a half, but not too often.

You need to get a different nutritionist. Seriously.
There's such a thing as drinking too much water. Remember, your kidneys have to filter the water you drink. On average your waking day is how many hours? Drinking two gallons of water in that scope of time works your kidneys. And then you have the at rest period when you sleep. And your body is still going to have to filter whatever is left of that two gallons.

Then there's such a thing as over saturation in blood volume.

Yeah, that's because when it comes time for them to pay their medical bills he's not accountable. Why do you think water is a torture method employed for years in some cultures? Not water boarding. But forcing people to drink water?

Follow his orders. Now with Obama care, if you can afford it, dialysis will eventually be less expensive I imagine.

Two Gallons of water that you are "supposed" to drink that seems like way too much water. What other type of beverages do you consume daily?

I totally cut out carbonated beverages because God told me to. Now, I drink lots of tea and water and an occasional coffee like once a week if that.

Filtered water, I drink more than I can count. Bottled water, I would say 4-5 a day probably. That's really the only thing I drink, besides the occasional tea and almond milk. I heard, though, the more water you drink, the thirstier you are. I guess that would explain why I'm always grabbing another bottle.

My doctor is in his mid 40's, gets up at 5:30 am, works out an hour and a half a day, surfs, dirt bike rides, and looks like Adonis. And he has had me drinking an average of 15 - 14 oz. glasses of water a day (he drinks more, himself) for nearly three years now, and I can do things most 50 year olds can't do... and I am 70.

Of course you will keep doing what you feel is right, and that is how it should be. But the proof of the pudding is way too obvious in my life, and in the lives of most of his other patients. (Some just refuse to get with the program, and it shows to us who have known them for years.)

Almond milk (if you are laying off other "dairy") is one of the smartest things you can do... if you want to drink some kind of milk.

Although it DOES contain way too much sugar..... but so does almost anything we all eat.

I love water..the colder the better. I like flavored water also. The city water here tastes like crap (not literally) so I have a faucet filter on my kitchen faucet. It does a pretty good job. I rarely drink soda but I drink lots of water and fruit juice.

No, I'm not listening to old wives tales. I'm listening to medical research.
But like I said, he doesn't have to pay for the side effects that can appear in his patients. I'd also check his credentials. He's not a medical doctor when he's a nutritionist so he has no idea about medical science.

Just as an aside:There's an old saying: If your doctor, (or nutritionist) smokes, leave the office.

I bought some Almond Silk (soy bean drink), I couldn't handle the Almond taste. I did drink Silk for several months because milk goes bad too soon and I am real sensitive to bad milk smell even before other think it is bad.l

we have to have fresh water, just like fresh air and daily sunshine, live food
if you can find it -growing your own is the best way for optimum health -
a must to stay healthy and keep our immune system on guard to fight for us
when we need it.

the amount of fresh water we take-in daily is so important, vital really.
we have been so inundated with water substitutes that it has become
natural for most to drink the artificial stuff without a thought to their
daily health - and then wonder why they don't feel well so much
of the time or catch everything that goes around.

I know many people whose water intake is so minute that they are constantly
ill, this is of course coupled with a very poor diet.
their skin is dry and ruff, they have bowel troubles, and over-all body
ailments on a regular basis.

what saddens us the most is the lack of priority in schools and such to
teach our young ones how to be and stay healthy -

so many nursing homes are the pits and what they feed our elders,
our families and friends, it is truly a travesty.

some must think that they are exempt from the aging process and that
they will always stay young.....without the least bit of effort or responsibility
in taking the extra time or care for their own selves.

we must each search and find the best ingredients and the best formula
to stay as healthy as we can, no matter what it takes -
even if we suffer from prior injuries or disease, we can make good choices
and take care of our temples with diligence and respect for what we have
been blessed with.

Yup I drink plenty enough water every day. Especially since I'm quite active I need a lot of water.

I try to drink ten 8-ounce cups of water a day, if I can. It's actually quite easy, considering my job has these styrofoam cups that hold 16 ounces of water, and I tend to buy a lot of 24-packs of bottled water, as well as refilling gallons of milk, and used empty gallon water-jugs, with water that I get from Wal-Mart. 37 cents a jug. Not bad, in my opinion. Why pay a buck or more for a gallon, when you pay a bit over 1/3rd of the amount for one? That's almost 3 for $1.

I drink at least 1 litre of water a day.. sometimes 2 - 3 if its really humid or if I've had a massive workout.
Cold water always as well :)
