Example - My students make a hypothesis statement, and then they gear their observations to match the Hypothesis statement.
The only reason we can use Logic and Reason is because we are created in God's image, If Evolution where true, which is based on materialism, and naturalism - Logic would not exist - you can't touch a law of logic.

I was not using the "disproving God" in the way you think (if it is credible science, he said that he would believe it)....It was using his logic to show why it was wrong, look at the message I was referring to...and if you read everything he has posted, you will see he is making fun of those who don't believe evolution. If you want the truth, what aggravates the divide is when evolutionists call others stupid for not believing evolution. There is enough reason to logically not believe evolution. I am fine that people don't agree with me, but I have a problem when people think they are the only one with logical views.
I would also extend this to people using the Bible for their own means - that's called Eisegesis - where you start off with a topic and then you actively find scriptures to bolster your opinion, it also usually leads to twisting the context - this is what happens mostly in a lot of forums
the worst part is when the person acts like a martyr for their really weird theology, I guess i'll turn the other cheek... there are 2 of them I been chatting in, and it's pretty sad
I'm not the one focusing on evolution. I started this thread and I didn't even use the word evolution until my post #106. You, among others, directed the discussion to evolution. See your post #85 where out of the blue you say to me: "Can you please explain macro evolution to us at a molecular level?"
YECs prefer to direct the discussion to evolution because they have far more talking points and can deflect the discussion from issues like the age of the earth, a global flood, and dinosaurs coexisting with humans. Issues where there are more facts and less theories.

Actually it has everything to do with this thread as well. People use the Scientific Method reasoning, because it is observable and testable to them and them alone. It is still a formal logical fallacy - that's why it seems like it works
This is the same with the concept of Evolution, you build enough people to believe in it, you perpetuate it, you preach it, and teach it enough - people will think it's true. One, I am born by the Spirit, so I have had my eyes open to the Scriptures, Jesus Christ and how the reality is - This is not my own accord and I cannot intellectually win someone into Salvation - That's God and God alone.
The bible itself is a world view, a way of interpreting the world around us. If we look through the lens of Scripture we see how the world actually is, and that is verified over and over again.
I didn't always believe Genesis as a Christian, because I struggled with Evolution, I got saved in my Geology undergraduate program. A friend of mine challenged me, and I couldn't just put my ideas onto scripture and make them fit. That's Eisegesis, had to take my pride, and by faith - I prayed that God would show me a soul satisfying, intellectually satisfying answer

You don't have to use the word evolution to be talking about evolution. So you did see that question, must be you can't answer it......And you want to talk about the age of the earth. This quote below is the most used by scientists. I call it circular reasoning. Honestly, they cannot prove the age of the earth beyond a reasonable doubt. If you get into the minor details on how they know, there will be circular reasoning. I don't care if you challenge arguments, but ad hominem is a fallacy, not an argument, so you better not use it.

As I remember it microevolution (correct me if I am wong) would occur within the same species. Dod breeding would be an example,which I would agree is viable and proven viable.
