Proof for God: The 12 Stones of Revelation
Here are some better pictures with additional data:
There are about 28 or so precious and semi-precious stones in the world.
Of these 28, exactly the 12 (!) that Heavenly Jerusalem is built with and that represent the 12 tribes are anisotropic and reflect all the colors of the rainbow beautifully when pure light passes through them...

Interestingly, neither diamond, rubies or garnets are mentioned. Turns out, it’s because they are isotropic, when Pure light passes trough them, there is no beauty at all.

So the beauty of a stone is determined by the pure light...............
1 Peter 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ

Pretty cool! And we know what the pure source of Light is, which in turn is making a rainbow....

Revelation 4:3
And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.

Revelation 10:1
And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

I tried to get in that this was originally posted by SOUL WEAVER but ran out of time to edit...this was not my work.....

I remembered when I first noticed the first being mentioned last, and the last being mentioned first I thought of this verse....

Luke 13:30
And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

And good job putting those verses together above. And also keep in mind, most precious stones don't start out all nice and polished, but rather they are rough at first. It takes some time and effort to make the rough ways smooth. :)

Yeah Bro, I seen what you are talking about there how the order changed in them and I thought okay its first and last in the OT of these two stones which are shown in our Lord, but then in revelation the order elsewhere (foundationally) was first and sixth (rather) which I thought, hmmm... thats sort of cool too, but I was like...? Not sure...?

Its like (((the building of the wall of it)) is written out in almost a verby sense of being it builded together somehow, in the way might pertain to jasper though... but then else its God who as a wall unto her (the city) and the glory within, and elsewhere her light (like unto a stone) we know he is compared to when it comes to looking upon him (which is of the japser) and the location of this stone is like (above, as in he that sat) within, in respects to glory and her mirrored light (and about her as a wall and a fire) and beneathe (her) in a foundational sense, but I stop there.

But the first and last or the sardius and the jasper stone in the breastplate (he is likened to look upon) doesnt follow consistently as ordered the foundational sense. Or springboard of the first and last (as can be shown one way) but not in the reverse sens of it (last first and first last). It doesnt seem to work in the case of the stones (in that way) as backwards as might forwards. Well, in a sort of a cute attempt on my part of trying to squeeze it in.

The stones in the latter order (foundationally) are shown first and sixth between them.

Rev 21:19 And the foundations ((of the wall)) of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones.

The foundations of the wall

The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;

The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.

The last (or twelfth) there being the amethyst.

So its like... take one hurdle at a time get a thing worked out at one level and then return to it and see what comes of it as you go along, thats what I do, one monkey wrench at a time lol!

This has been fun comparing these things though, I haven touched these for years, but once and awhile someone will touch them and bring them to my rememberance and I start dabbling again lol

God bless Bro

An absolutely amazing woman, and I do miss her here on CC.

I agree.
I miss her. She was my bud.
I think she is just spending time with her husband and doing music.

That gem post above? Wow, l never would have looked into that.
When it came to those types of Bible tidbits.....small, yet important...she was a blessing.

I was noting Jasper...

Notice the position of Jasper in Exodus is last, but in Revelation above is first....

Exodus 39:10-14[SUP]10 [/SUP]And they set in it four rows of stones: the first row was a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this was the first row.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]And the second row, an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]And the third row, a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]And the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper: they were inclosed in ouches of gold in their inclosings.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]And the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet, every one with his name, according to the twelve tribes.

The last is shown as the first.

And why didnt you tell me I posted the wrong book and chapter/ verse from where I was pulling that same thing from? LOL I cant edit that in but I changed it in my studies for furture reference.

No, I see what you are talking about, but there are two stones inclusive of him (to look upon) which is the first and last stones in the former, and although the jasper was last and is shown first in revelation I was hoping to do the same with both stones ( equally). Meaning take which one was first and last (him being both) as shown in the former picture and reverse them equally in the latter picture. But you can only do that with the Jasper alone, not with the Sardius (or Sardine). Thats what I was pointing out how one of the two lands in the latter at sixth (in the order) rather at the last (as I would have hoped). But only in the sense of working something out. But I love these sorts of things, for me every new little cool twist leads me somewhere even cooler each time, so Im always like, bring it on lol

I agree with what you are showing in respects to the jasper, that wasnt the one that gave me trouble in the reverse sense of things.

Sorry, I thought you knew what I was talking about because we had covered this in the past. Sometimes I assume things, and you know what they say bout assuming things. :) lol Peace

Speak for yourself...many people like myself have had encounters with Jesus. Just like the Characters in the bible...aside from that,I knew in my dream and in my spirit it was Jesus.

I'm happy for you and rejoice seeing how enthusiastic your love is for Jesus. God bless you! :)

Yeah this is right. You just know. I believe your dream has significance, its obvious it does going by what you said. Continue to ask the Lord for its interpretation, He doesn't give us dreams so they cannot be understood. You don't have anyone in your life you trust and can talk about this?

My sister couldn't get pregnant and tried everything. One night she had a dream; she was crying to Jesus, "You know I believe in You and You know how badly I want children. Why can't I have them?" Jesus smiled and said, "Have faith, daughter, you're going to have many children."

Today she can field her own basketball team with her children. Praise God!!!

I am still missing you apparently because I posted the very reference to the same verse you had brought to my attention again . We acknowledge the same verse , I just failed to post the correct book/chapter. So we are really referencing the same thing (correctly). The first and last as is shown in Jesus Christ, he is to look upon as two stones (the Jasper and Sardine/Sardius) I acknowledge the Jaspers location moving accordingly between Exodus and Revelation (positionally) but I am doing both of the stones not just one stone in the whole first last and last first thing. Taking the two (in respects to the flip flopping) from place to the other where you are taking just the one (just the Jasper alone)

In doing that (according to how I am trying to do so) I cannot see how you can reverse it (((using both stones))) accordingly not that I dont acknowledge the one cannot.

But Im really lost on your response here in respects to assuming I knew something that I dont in relation to this because of some former conversation? What am I failing to see here that you feel I should?

Im acknowledging the jasper its moving between the pictures that is clear, what is not clear and I cannot do is the same with the Sardine/ Sardius in the same way and that was my objective (and hope) in some way that can make some greater sense to me in Christ (in respects to both of them equally) not separated, if that helps you better understand.

Josephus says in ("Ant." iii. 7, § 7): The coat was the symbol of the earth, the upper garment emblemized heaven, while the bells and pomegranates represented thunder and lightning. The ephod typified the four elements, and the interwoven gold denoted the glory of God. The breastplate was in the center of the ephod, as the earth formed the center of the universe; the girdle symbolized the ocean, the stones on the shoulders the sun and moon, and the jewels in the breastplate the twelve signs of the zodiac, while the miter was a token of heaven.

Gotcha, you were talking about the two and I was just speaking of the one, thus the misunderstanding. No problem, Peace. :)

Speak for yourself...many people like myself have had encounters with Jesus. Just like the Characters in the bible...aside from that,I knew in my dream and in my spirit it was Jesus.
Um, I think I did speak for myself. That wasn't the question. I was really asking how you know it was him? Obviously, it wasn't what he looked like, so what made you know it was him?

No prob Bro, I was getting you 100% in that one and completely agree with you

I am eyeballing that dar amethyst

Wish that werent in my way for the other one LOL! ;)

I might have to default to first alone or find something cool there if you got anything come back and tell me k?

God bless, peace to you as well

the ephod and breastplate are 2 different things the ephod was made of linen, the breastplate was made of gold (exo. 28) the color blue in the Hebrew represents obedience and points to our Savior, he was obedient unto death even the death of the cross, your dream may be showing you his desire for you to seek His will and to study deeper into the meanings of the sanctuary in the wilderness, (it points to our Savior) there are deep and amazing things to be discovered in the study these things... most all but ignore the Old Testament not realizing that the new can be far better understood with this backround knowledge, and keep in mind when Paul wrote Timothy 2:15 the NT did not even exist yet, so what scriptures was he telling him to study? hope this helps
