I'm a college grad, my schooling is officially over. I have gotten jobs and things before, but at the moment I'm looking for things that will branch out into a career. So I've been applying to a lot of places and looking into many things, and something hit me.

I. Am. Afraid. When I thought about going outside into the world to go out and get a job I got really anxious. And it isn't like agoraphobia or fear of being outside, I think it's the idea of being all on my own and settling into a job.

It may point to another fear: fear of being completely on my own in the world. Does this happen with anyone else?

As someone who only attended a 600 hour course for my trade and learned from there, I had to get my feet wet in the "adult" world a little sooner than some of my peers that entertained college life. The honest truth here: life is a little scary, BUT not because it's actually scary (let me explain).

It's scary because of how the world is. It's intolerant, it's impatient, it's sometimes impractical, and even less often is it accommodating. School gives you books, and those are great. Life gives you tools, and those are great too! Life shouldn't be scary because of a sense of being unprepared. It may be scary because of the bad in it─but then, you probably know all about the bad out there, so you're probably not as unprepared as you might think.

Just remember: Look both ways before crossing the street, don't eat the yellow snow, and don't take the sticky stuff on hand rails, the ground, or stuck to chairs - it's NOT free candy.

yes. all over the place.

yahweh(god) has an answer , a solution, in yahshua(yahweh's salvation)(jesus)
and
inHIS WORD. so look up fear, every instance in HIS WORD. include "be afraid" and "be terrified" (believe it or not, GOD SAYS "be terrified" a time or 2 or more in the OT and in the NT to believers).....

i.e. the answer is in GOD'S WORD.
not what men say about anything, but what GOD SAYS HIMSELF.

p.s. first perhaps/ after? find out how or why to never be completely on your own in the world, though all men and even family may desert you,
GOD(YAHWEH) is completely FAITHFUL as HIS WORD says..... and HE will guard and keep you IF you meet HIS requirements (which HE conveniently spelled out in every needed detail, all very simple, in HIS WORD).

Fear is normal, but it is not ours to bear. We are not given a spirit of fear. :)

Yet, we do have fear and we must face it and, as Joyce Meyer says, do it afraid. All things are possible for one who loves and chooses to surrender to Christ. The future is exciting to me. There is something that I do fear though, in the realm of the call God has on my life, but what I do is just trust Him, because honestly, He is already in that future, waiting for me, with all things prepared and ready to go. :) When we've got God, we have no reason to fear.
