What language would you like to learn if you have to learn one?

well, Norway has plenty of dialects, and you can normally tell at least vaguely where someone is from,
ie Nordland (far north), Østagder/ Vestagder (far south), Møre og Romsdal (west), Bergen (southwest) or Asker (near Oslo)

You can understand in which part of Ukraine a person live because of accent, I'm not sure we name it accent. We say: "to speak "syrgikom"".
It's because of borders with Russian, Belarus and Poland. Many words are from there. So if someone lives not far from Poland he has nice Ukrainian but with some Polish words we can't even understand. They combine Ukrainian and another language. People also speak Russian here.
 
Well...I speak spanish....and English....
know some german....some italian and learning icelandic and norwegian

I am writing a book and I will invent a language for the book i am writing...with grammar and all

Well....ukraine has a distinctive and beautiful accent.....maybe it is a little bit different in Donetsk, Kiev, Jarkiv, Odesa, Poltava.....

Norway is a true challenge when it comes to speak norwegian.....
People from Bodø speak different from Oslo and Kristiansand and Stavanger
 
I am getting curious, why would anyone want to learn Norwegian (unless they are moving to Norway of course).
I mean... it's not like you can use it in much of the world :P are we that special? :D :p
 
I would like to learn ancient greek, ancient hebrew, latin, more spanish, italian, french, and a variety of other languages, I hope and pray to speak in tongues!
 
Interpretations. Did you know that the Jews and early Christians really did not get their sermons in the original languages? They WERE "read" the original text, but most people couldn't understand it any more than modern Catholics could understand the Latin being read to them. What the Rabbis did was to read the original, then give an interprative sermon (called, a "Targum"), explaining their particular and personal views and opinions on what the chosen Scripture was trying to say.

Have you known that the Bulgarian Apostles had done the similar conversation when they wrote Bulgarian Alfa bet in the Vatican :)

On second thought I wanna learn French so I can go to France with my Great Aunt, she's French and goes to France very often to stay with family. I wanna gooooooo.......

El esperanto no me parece que haya tenido muchos logros, pese a que la idea siempre fue buena...
