no my friend you do have a problem.

You cause John to contradict himself by your interpretation of your passage, there is no getting around that. The word of God can not contradict. otherwise it is a useless document which is meaningless

And Jesus is a sex addict I know....

Titus 1:16 KJV

They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

People here are saying they don’t have to obey Jesus. Yet the verse above here condemns those who are disobedient.

Gods words are clear what it says, the words of God speak for themselves, no need for you guys to redefine, twist and and play word hockey with them. :)
your right it does.

1 John 3:
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. [SUP]5 [/SUP]And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. [SUP]6 [/SUP]Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has NEITHER SEEN HIM NOR KNOWN HIM.

[SUP]7 [/SUP]Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. [SUP]8[/SUP]He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. [SUP]9 [/SUP]Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

so tell me, who is twisting Gods word? one who says one can stop abiding and fall into sin and lose salvation. or one who believes what God says, whoever falls into sin has never known God or seen him, and whoever is born of God can not fall into sin (stop abiding)

seems you have a major problem my friend.

it sure does not say what you claim it does.

if you do not believe in the assurance of Gods salvation. you do not have faith in God. period!
Bottom line, that's all that can be said. The Spirit doesn't lead into all lies. It's just a web trollfest going on, and it is getting old, feeling a little nauseous, on Brother Crossnote's merry-go-round, or, more aptly, boredom setting in. They're just bores.

Maybe you should pay attention to the key words in that verse....

UNTOEVERY GOOD WORK VOID (reprobate)

Jesus also said...those of you who are faithful over a FEW things........does you lack of perfection (yet) indicate that you are disobedient in some areas and still LOST in your SIN that you have failed to perfect YET?

who says that? you keep making that claim. yet I have yet to see you back your words with proof.

Your just a false accuser and bearing false witness. You just broke one of Gods command, you have lost salvation and you better repent so you can be saved again!

In my experience in dealing with OSAS proponents, most of the time they are hateful with their words and have admitted that they can sin and still be saved. But if you do not want to take my word for it. Just check out the fruit of George Sedini (Who is the poster child for OSAS).

Amen! Preach it Sis! :) This is not a do nothing, live like the devil and still be saved no matter what kind of faith. Abiding in Christ is abiding in the Truth, which is every word of God. OSAS says you cannot fall from faith, which is a direct casting of the truth to ground and stomping on it. Jesus said plain as day it would happen...

Luke 8:13
They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

But they won't believe Jesus either, because they love the doctrine of men more (who come in their own name) better than the Light of the Truth.

They want to hear feel good preachers who tell them they can sin all they want and still be "IN CHRIST" WHICH IS A LIE.

Galatians 2:17
But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
Yeah, Im really starting to catch this differently and I must say what has actually helped (and for which I am actually thanking God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ for) here is for all the nastiness I have witnessed. This has actually helped make things clear in a way I wouldnt have thought would. So Im here telling God how great He is and all his ways for the letting in all slander and false witness and accusations because all of that really must manifest I believe. Its an evident token in itself which I have overlooked.

Always the same. Nobody has ever said what they claim. Again, devil means slanderer. It's a tell, the point I've been trying to make of the spirit behind it all. The doctrines and approach are textbook Satanic.
I agree...The accuser of the brethren and the work of their daddy they will do.......such as below....

By the way, a little news for you anti-gospel trolls. I very seldom read your posts, never the long ones, with all your corrupt blather, usually only notice what's said if it's a one liner. You're not really a part of the conversation. I fear, for your purposes, this is true of some others. You're only on ChristianChat, to memorialize the Page Down key, on my computer. I like reading those true, don't even believe in stuffing garbage in one's mind. It's also a criminal waste of server storage space.
