This firs command to love you neighbor, and love God, seems to be for you just a word in your mouth, because you use that command in hypocrite way's to avoid real acts of love, and righteousness.

And you do not even feel shame what you do.

But do you really think, that the Lord Jesus Christ is like you at all?

Repent people's and no more lies, but true turn to God's will, and righteous life in the Lord Jesus Christ, because I am telling to you that you do not win anything by lies and hypocrisy, like we all may understand if just are truthful for our selves, but if we are not, then how we can pleas God, or avoid the wrath what is coming on this world, if we are like this world, which do not know God?

Amen. The elder of the Faith speaking truth on the perfect man and the ability to bridle the whole body.

Bridle - (verb) to control or hold back; restrain; curb.

James 3:2

For in many things we offend all.
If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man,
and able also to [control or hold back; restrain; curb.] the whole body.

This should conclude the matter on whether the believer is *able* to be perfect.

[17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

James acknowledges that in (( many things)) we offend all (its like you have to reread that sentence again)

Heres the kicker, if a man offend not in word (more specifically) the same is a perfect man
Then the ability of this particular man (understood as the perfect man) can then be rightly discerned as (able also) to bridle the whole body. He has the power in him to do this (in otherwords)

Considering all of that, the only exception to this rule (in respects to the perfect man not offending in word) lands at the feet of Jesus Christ (our rock of offense)

The most perfect man (who we all acknowledge Jesus Christ to be) and unto whom we are to grow up into offended in word adressing that which pertained to the mouth.

When he said,

Mat 15:

[11] Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man;
but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

[12] Then came his disciples, and said unto him,
Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?

James agrees with Christ's words

James 3:

[6] And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

James also stating that no man can tame the tongue (James 3:8) and so it likely would offend them as they could control what went into their mouths then that which come out of the same even as a man's religion which cannot bridle his tongue has a vain religion (James 1:26).

That would be the only (ironically) understandable exception I see in the perfect man (Jesus Christ). He offended the Pharisees (in word) on placing the weight of a mans defilement on that which comes out (verses what goes into) a mans mouth.

So Jesus (the perfect man) offended (in word) the Pharisees in that particular saying.

The irony is kind of funny in that one though.

i know you will look this up, as you seek out all things in GOD'S WORD, as you should - that is GOOD.

Jesus says "woe to you who are offended (or "who find offense in") by ME."

and Jesus says "blessed art thou if you find no offense in ME"....

remember NOTHING DEFILED nor DEFILING ever, not ever, did or could come out of JESUS.

every WORD He spoke was as from ABBA YAHWEH, pure, holy, and true.....

and those who are/ were offended by TRUTH, are under Jesus' "woe"....

same today with men everywhere -

they are gathered together against yahweh's anointed... they find offense in GOD'S WORD, in TRUTH, and in those who abide (remain in, set apart in yahweh by grace in yahshua) in HIS WORD. yes, "abide in HIS WORD"....

the world is offended by HIS WORD, and always will be. they have a choice to repent of their sin, to be cleansed from their sin by calling on the Name of Jesus, or to die in their sin.

The offense of the cross is shown,

when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake,
immediately they are offended.

Gal 5:11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision,
why do I yet suffer persecution?
then is the offence of the cross ceased.

Jesus Christ is the rock of offense

1 John 16:1 These things have I spoken unto you,
that ye should not be offended.

Phil 1:29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ,
not only to believe on him,
but also to suffer forhis sake;

Romans 9:33 As it is written,
Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence:
and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Thats on point with what Peter rebuked him in, his cross,
Jesus turns then begins speaks to Satan on that key area (in contrast)
And that in respects to being a an offense to Jesus Christ. In Mat 16:21-23
Fear of man brings a snare, Peter was rebuked by Paul in respects to
fearing the circumcision (mindful of the things of men) in the same in Gal 2:11

Just like here though where affliction shall rise up for the words sake

Mark 4:17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time:
afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake,
immediately they are offended.

You really should arm yourself in that so you are not offended or moved by persecutions

1 Thes 3:3 That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves
know that we are appointed thereunto.

Persecutions come from the one born after the flesh not those born of the Spirit,
he that is born after the Spirit is the target of the one who is born after the flesh.
Same as then is the same as now Paul said.
