Men desire to run churches with other men, whereas God's way is for both sexes to be doing it together. In my opinion it is the cause of so much that is wrong with the church.

You are talking about preachers writers etc. I was meaning translators and theologians which has been very rare until the last period in the church.
 
We have translations and theological systems that have been produced by men when they should be by both sexes.

So you don't believe God has the power to preserve His Word through Men? I think you limit Gods power to say men can't possibly translate the bible. If this is the case the Old Testament is full of error because MEN had the responsibility of doing this. I guarantee you if God uses nothing but Women to translate scripture the Bible would look the same. Maybe you should study Greek and Hebrew before you make outrageous claims.

Romans 1:24-27 (ESV)

This is talking about homosexuality to include men and women, which is also considered as Sexual Sin.
 
I agree that translations by women alone would also be wrong. The Word of God is Jesus Christ (John 1) The scriptures we have are what men have translated.

Jesus is the living Word and the Word of God has always been. Jesus was there at the beginning and the Word will be there at the end so the entire Bible is the Word of God.

Talking about twisting scripture to fit your own agenda
 
I am not trying to say that homosexuality is okay - we have scripture in the OT to show it is wrong.

From your post you are saying that the scripture we are talking about means God said it was wrong for two men running a church together. Am I correct in this?

you are right for the most part , in the groups you have lived as a part of,

about the scriptures "you" have are what men have translated.

this is emphatically NOT TRUE for everyone.

(but it takes quite a small miracle to find out)...
