As an English teacher, let me assure you that paragraphing has NOTHING to do with knowing or not knowing English. Paragraphing is a common grammatical construct in all Western European countries. While there may be particulars that vary (i.e. in English we paragraph for each speaker in dialogue), it is common practice.

Lack of paragraphing pretty much indicates a person who 1) lacks experience with online message boards and/or 2) Is probably not much of a reader (hobby-wise).

Be careful, PoetMary. Any woman who corrects AgeofKnowledge (or puts him in his place) receives his wrath! ;)

Either that, or a stern lecture about how 12-year-old Filipino Mail-Order Brides are 310% better wives than any American woman alive, including references and stats. :p

Yes, a woman who has a thought in her head is much harder to control than an innocent child. Not that young girls don't think, but they are easier to control on the whole.

-- good, let him order a wife from there! (although leave the 12 year olds alone...)-- sorry Philippines! Wait, I change my mind, I was just going for self-preservation (hey, and I'm not even American)-- but this is not fair for our Filipino brides who are looking for a BETTER life--

And then those other men (you know the ones) will show up, and I will once again get in trouble for "attacking" the men who post in the forum. But you know it's only those certain ones who seem to get offended when women speak up. :D

I find that a lot of times women are answering in the forum and only women and a random man are even acknowleging that they posted at all--- it's like women are magically invisible to almost all male posters...

4 years on this site and i've yet to see this. In fact from what i see women are quite active and well acknowledged here. They can bring a lot to a thread and this is recognized by nearly everyone.

It's not very lady like to speak your mind, but no one has ever accused me of being lady like so I'm not worried about it. ;)

I totally hear what you're saying.

I've been wanting to post a picture of myself in my nun's habit, knee socks, and turtleneck (yes, all at once), but I'm pretty sure what would start a flash mob.
Now that you've told us that you have this outfit, yyoudo realize that we expect to see you in it in two and a half weeks, right?

If you're worried about how hot it is going to be in Dallas versus Arizona when wearing said outfit, I can assure you that the ambient temps in Dallas are going to be much lower than AZ, so the turtleneck habit shouldn't be uncomfortable at all.

Also, it will be like, 80% humidity, so it will TOTALLY feel even colder, so dressing warmly is a great idea.

I guess I should be more specific-- I haven't been on here long, but I have noticed this, in some of the controversial discussions in the Bible Answers forum-- I made a generalization that generally doesn't fit all the other discussions----

Here is what is going on in the society today: conservative girls are not coming out to be seen instead they believe that the man is supposed to seek them in their mainly small denominational church and pagan men take advantage of this by going to meet conservative christian girls in their church whilst pretending to be Christians.

so why are the conservative christian girls not coming out? Firstly i believe it is because of pride, they believe they are too special to come out and seek men, they wrongly believe it is the man that is supposed to seek the woman.

But this is a lie, the truth is that christian men want those gentle, quiet, humble, conservative 'no make up" christian girls. if you are one of those conservative christian girls then know that you are a scarce commodity in the christian dating market and your value is very high as christian men are searching for you and you need to come out to be seen.

Those quiet humble girls aren't prideful - they're shy and timid. So shy and timid that when a guy starts pushing them around, he scares them and makes it even harder for those of us who would like to hope we have a chance with a woman like that.

God doesn't owe you some beautiful wall flower with a heart of gold. No Christian woman especially one like that can ever belong to any man - they belong to God. They are beautiful vessels for the Holy Spirit to reside in. They aren't here for our amusement, they're here because God is infinitely more creative than you or I.

Do you really think you're up to the task of growing a woman like that spiritually when you spew such vitriol? Your words are dripping with resentment and bitterness. If she's a woman of God, she's going to be scared away, or at least I'd hope she would.

Get your heart right and get your facts right.

There are more women than men in churches - these women are often desperate for a man who's even somewhat Christian in nature. Lots of them settle for a guy they have to drag to church. If you're really this great Christian man you say you are, they should at least be saying hi to you.

Take some time, get yourself right with God, and pull that dang plank out of your eye before you start moaning about how a few women have a speck in theirs.

Not-At-All-Ugly is correct. Women are generally acknowledged here at CC. There are only a few (very loud) individuals who ignore women.

ARGH, humidity.

How am I going to keep my hair looking perfect with 80% humidity???!!!

Ack. I'm giving myself away. Obviously, a Conservative Christian Woman... wouldn't care about... the weather.

No worries, Shour. I'll just cut a few "ventilation holes" throughout my outfit... However, it might turn out looking like something Rihanna would wear at a red carpet premiere.

As long as I keep my entire face covered except for 2 eye holes and a shock of dark curly hair, I'm sure I'll still be seen as totally conservative. And modest.

Ah, the Shaker Sweater! No matter your shape you'll look like a colored potato.
And it goes with ankle length denim skirt on aisle seven ;)
