You are absolutely right...it was VERY good. What makes us different than anything else in creation? That is the answer to what made us "VERY good."
Doh! Oh yeah! I wasn't even expecting you to be able to answer that, but, oh yeah! Great answer!

LB I like that saying and if I may elaborate more on it us girls share because we care, but we must be CAREful about it;)
This excludes sharing chocolate, right? Because I already went grocery shopping, and there's only but so much chocolate, you know.

Okay...now I have to explain landing the plane. Landing the plane means to give up fighting and start thinking of some sort of win/win scenario. The problem with trying to keep the plane in the air too long is that the ones we fly are not capable of mid flight refueling.....it you're pickin up what I'm throwing down.
There it us....where the rubber meets the rode....usually with homospirituals, i think i got that right......never make a point.

Some people thrive on confusion. It's safe for them. I like cockroach scattering light.....that is where the truth is found.

SK, love ya, bro......but the division is real.
....and its not from a lack of effort, because we have tried to talk to them a million times.
I'm going to assume you don't read much from them, you avoid their posts?

Out of sight, out of mind?
You can check one out now.

We say what others only think. Wanting something to be a certain way, and dealing with how it is, are two different things.

I'm not saying what we are doing is right.....but these people have made a lot of cool members quit CC.
Someone has to let them know what's up.
Sadly......this is where it is at....Sarcasm and in your face tactics IS our last resort.
It's not the last resort.

We haven't tried kicking, and if we're into true torture, I can always start singing, but I fear everyone would leave and stab their eardrums out with that one.

This is, like, up to eleven pages now and going a whole lot of nowhere, no progress being made. At some point, we're going to need to move on to bispirituality and the plight of transpirituals. But, immediately, matters of terminology require some consideration.

Homosexual is now referred to as being "gay." Homospiritual has even more letters, will not endure as a spellable word in the internet age, and there are plenty of words in the language to ruin. I've been thinking in terms of "may" or "nay." A may, because only they may be saved. Or a nay, because only they will be saved, nobody else, including the Lord, who crafted this erroneous grace by faith gospel. (He didn't even know He was only supposed to hear His name certain ways, up to Buffalo Bill Hawkins, goofed-up hiring Paul, and promises promises, the list goes on and on.)

So, what is it going to be? Don't be shy. It's already the case you can't read a classic, without thinking everybody was a queer at a party or picnic. Can't hurt to destroy some more words.

Now THIS kind of sarcasm works! (Hot foot forest cracked me up too.)

There is only so much chocolate and so little time to eat it all. I would share chocolate, but in my defense I threw out my heart of chocolates because I only ate two pieces out of the entire thing and I love eating that type of chocolate

I think you just broke my brain but what you said is so illustrative....pronounced ill-lust-ra-tive....for those of you in southwestern Mississippi......of how permeable everything in our world is to the lies of satan.

It's completely mystifying, also, how spiritual blindness can override all faculties of intellect, how much plain scripture, some very clear statements, just don't register. It's also like the scientist who can't see statistical proof of explicit, fulfilled prophecy proving God and the Bible. You show people some things not hardly understood, and it's as if somebody flipped a zombie switch on in their psyche.

I think it's kind of fun that generally, the homospirituals don't come play on my threads. What do you suppose that's all about? I just wanna be loved....lol
I just found it! Be merciful o.k.? We have homospirituals on the forum? Who knew?

So what are some characteristics of a homospiritual?

1) They talk like they are wearing a tunic, haven't bathed in 3 weeks and might smell like a hot foot forest: i.e. they say lots thee's and thous and dost's haveth noteth's and whatnot and some even think they have God's "secret" name.

2) They say "but" a lot.

3) They are cryptic in their posts. Kinda so they can have wiggle room I suppose.

I came up with 3...anyone else care to add?
Uh, don't they keep repeating themselves?

Something I've been thinking about a lot lately, and had considered writing a thread about, is, What Does Mental Illness Look Like Online?

I've often wondered how many of the people here who just will not let go of their rants, which often have nothing to do with anything else discussed, are mentally ill. I've been on CC since 2009 and have seen a few things... I remember one member (who's not here anymore) who used to go on wild rants in the Bible Discussion chat room. I don't mean this in a judgmental way, but from his appearance the the condition of his surroundings on his webcam, this was a person who invested very little time in personal hygiene, cleanliness, or organization.

All the clues seemed to point to a situation in which this person had very little, if any, regular interaction with people in real life. Rather, it seems he devoted all his time to his own method of Bible study... and then trying to convert others to his superior way of thinking.

I could be wrong, but I personally believe that people who purposely limit their contact with real people usually lose contact with reality.

The reason I think about such things isn't to try to condemn such people, but just that it can help us use a bit of discernment. For instance, if I suspect this is the case with a person who is always ranting and condemning, I don't see a point in arguing with them because the rational part that could have a productive discussion is either suppressed or missing altogether.

In that case, I know my time is better spent trying to build a relationship/friendship/Christian fellowship with someone else and just praying for the said person who refuses to say anything positive or listen to what anyone else has to say.
That's so sad, we don't really understand the desperate lives some people live. :(

Seriously, there are two ways we can help these people!

1. Love, love, love them!

2. Burn, burn, burn them!

Either we somehow reach them with God's love, and if that doesn't work, time to bring out brimstone and fire, and the threat of hell if they don't shape up.

Shape up or ship out. But love them first! LOL
LOL, maybe it would be better to:

3). Ignore, ignore ignore them

That's what the ignore option is for.
