Steps of Tribulation and end times; short version

1) Peace treaty signed (starts the 7 years)

2) Man of sin breaks the treaty after the first 3 1/2 (starts the Great Tribulation)

3) Jews and Christians persecuted and killed by the man of sin for the final 3 1/2 years

4) Jesus 2nd coming with the 144,000

5) Armageddon

6) First Resurrection (Gathering together of believers in Christ: Dead first then those still alive)

7) God's Wrath

8) 1,000 year millennial reign of Christ

9) Satan released after those 1,000 years

10) Gog and Magog war

11) Satan cased into lake of fire where the man of sin and false prophet are already at; Cast there by Jesus in the battle of Armageddon

12) Judgment
Well, that's your version.

You continue to reject the clear scriptures I have shown you from the bible.

Post #3130 I clearly showed you how the bible in Revelation 19 shows the both the Marriage of the Lamb (VS. 7) and the Marriage Supper of the Lamb (VS. 9) take place after the GT; Not before !!!

We know this is correct because Apostle Paul also shows the man of sin is revealed first before any of us are gathered to the Lord in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3, which I also posted in that same post......

If the man of sin is revealed first as Apostle Paul says, and we know by scripture this is done in the middle of the 7 year tribulation, then we can not be gathered to the Lord in the marriage(wedding) during the tribulation.

By continuing to say the gathering to the marriage happens before the tribulation denies scripture and calls Apostle Paul a liar. For he clearly says the man of sin is revealed first !!!
I agree the wedding FEAST takes place after Jesus' Return (ending Tribulation) to establish His Millennial Kingdom. That is not the marriage. The Bride is removed from the Earth in order to attend her wedding to the Bridegroom, and will arrive with Him to her new marital home---Jerusalem.

Well, that's your version.
No that is the order the bible clearly shows when all end times prophecy scriptures are put together, as it clearly shows only 2 resurrections. 1st before the the 1,000 millennial reign (believers in Christ/Revelation 20:4-5) and then 2nd after the 1,000 years to receive judgment.

Please read again Revelation 19:7;

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

It says clearly right there that the marriage of the Lamb, not feast or supper.
The feast/supper is not mentioned tell two verses later in verse 9 !!!

BTW,I am perplexed VCO,why you like a post that shreads the fact that OIl refers to the HS????????

Ok like I said before, and you did not address,if the 10 virgins refers to salvation, then salvation can "run out" during the night, and I can ask a believer(assuing erroneously that 5 were unbelievers) for some of his salvation,(which he carried extra salvation as we all know salvation can run out, rolleyes) and a believer can give another salvation?????

Then we would tell an unbeliever to "go buy some MORE salvation because your salvation ran out???????
But even if that is not convincing,if this theory is played out,,then salvation needs extra salvation (oil) to be sure one is saved for an extended period. We could also wake up,and find ourselves unsaved. But a fresh supply of salvation we could purchase. Salvation is a private work between God and man. The annointing oil is applied by man.(hence the perfect fit of oil being applied through another believer) "give us SOME of your oil"........as opposed to the error of "our salvation has run out" IMPOSSIBLE FIT.

Let's try that again with: 'oil' => "Holy Spirit"

Do you understand?

1 Thessalonians 5:9 (ESV)
[SUP]9 [/SUP] For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
"Who is it - that you think is included in 'us' - that will be at Armageddon...???"

:)

God's wrath can not happen before Armageddon because the reason the bible shows the Lord's return is to stop the man of sin from persecuting and killing Jews and Christians.
Six vials out of Seven happen before God's enemies are gathered together at Armageddon.

Revelation 15:

[SUP]7[/SUP] And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels
seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. [SUP]8[/SUP] And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

Revelation 16:

[SUP]1[/SUP] And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the
seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. [SUP]2[/SUP] And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. [SUP]3[/SUP] And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea. [SUP]4[/SUP] And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. [SUP]5[/SUP] And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. [SUP]6[/SUP] For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. [SUP]7[/SUP] And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments. [SUP]8[/SUP] And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. [SUP]9[/SUP] And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. [SUP]10[/SUP] And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, [SUP]11[/SUP] And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds. [SUP]12[/SUP] And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. [SUP]13[/SUP] And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. [SUP]14[/SUP] For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. [SUP]15[/SUP] Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. [SUP]16[/SUP] And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

The seven vials represent the Wrath of God --- "poured out upon the Earth"....

Plus the war mentioned in Revelation 20:8 is the Gog and Magog war, and not the battle of Armageddon !!!
"I'm not sure where this came from -- I don't believe I have even made any reference that verse..."

( And, I happen to agree... ;) )

I think the Tribulation saints are included as guests to the feast, but they are not the Church and will not be part of the wedding.
tribulation saints are those left behind. Every one of them is killed via martyrdom. They are found later in rev as an innumerable number. The wedding ,feast, consumation is in heaven as jesus said at the last supper, confirmed also in rev 19

Wrong, you are giving Baptism by the Spirit another definition than the one the Bible gives it. The first work of the Holy Spirit is to Baptize us into one body, the spiritual Body of Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:13 (NKJV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body--whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free--and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.

Romans 6:3 (NASB)
[SUP]3 [/SUP] Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death?
You obviously never researched it. The baptism of the HS is a second work. paul recieved it,as did others, and Jesus taught it.

Those verses you posted are general statements, that are overlapping and confirm what I am saying.

I have read it and here it is;

Revelation 19:1
And after these things..........................( Those things being the things that happen in the tribulation/great tribulation period)

Revelation 19:7
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for themarriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

Revelation 19:9
And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

Revelation 19 is set after the Great Tribulation event..........................................

You have the man of sin being revealed in the middle of the 7 year period, which starts the final 3 1/2 years called the Great Tribulation.

But the part you have wrong is by stating we will already be enjoying the wedding in heaven at this point, because I just showed you how Revelation 19 shows the marriage and supper both take place after the GT.

The other part that some seem to do in quoting 2 Thessalonians 2 as you have done is try and leave off the first 2 verses;

2 Thessalonians 2:1-2

1Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christand our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, 2not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come.

2 Thessalonians 2:3

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

We can not be in heaven enjoying the wedding when Apostle Paul clearly says our gathering together with the Lord does not take place tell after the man of sin is revealed !!!
Kenneth, i love you man,but You got a partial set of facts, form a position, and run with it.You are leaving stuff out.

Postribs have zero when they think "the man of sin is revealed first" conflicts with pretrib.
1) he murders millions of saints before he defiles the Holy place,so you thinks we are still here and oblivious to who he is till the Jews say so???????

2)He can be revealed for 1 hour,1 week, 1 month, then the gathering, and pretrib suffers nothing.

I think the Tribulation saints are included as guests to the feast, but they are not the Church and will not be part of the wedding.
Here is the 144 k harvested (corners harvested after main harvest )....(3rd part of 4,leviticus)
2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

Here is the final gathering (last of the 4 part harvest)

Rev 1414 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

This is the Jews brought into the wedding feast.
This is also the "last" depicted in jesus 1st miracle "but you have saved the best for last"

Get it? Jesus first business on earth is also his last business on earth.

Last is first and first is last, spiritual law.

This is why in rev 19,the bride has become the wife.
jesus placed the wedding feast in heaven at the last supper. he said "I will drink it anew with you in my fathers kingdom"

"I go.......that where I am you may be also"
He went to heaven.

Even the Jewish Weddings have Guests that are not the Bide.

Revelation 6:9-11 (ESV)
[SUP]9 [/SUP] When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain {Tribulation Saints} for the word of God and for the witness they had borne.
[SUP]10 [/SUP] They cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”
[SUP]11 [/SUP] Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.

They may arrive later than the Bride, but they do arrive and they are given the White Robes.

[video=youtube;HOVF9kv1afc]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOVF9kv1afc[/video]

Matthew 22:8-10 (NKJV)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] Then he said to his servants, 'The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.
[SUP]9 [/SUP] Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.'
[SUP]10 [/SUP] So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests.

Matthew 22:11-13 (NKJV)
[SUP]11 [/SUP] But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment.
[SUP]12 [/SUP] So he said to him, 'Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?' And he was speechless.
[SUP]13 [/SUP] Then the king said to the servants, 'Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'

Traditionally in Bibles time they all wore white robes to a wedding.
@ 3;00 the bride and groom drink the wine.

According to Jesus himself the wedding/feast/consumation will be in heaven, during the GT

That is NOT the Bride, but the glorious City of God, adorned AS A BRIDE.
Someone should re-read the text. Does not say AS a Bride, it says New Jerusalem IS THE BRIDE.

[SUP]2 [/SUP]And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

“Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.

Prepared as a Bride
I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife.

Some will stop at nothing in their twisting of the Word to get all the many conflicts with their doctrine to fit their invented theory.

We don't "Get back to heaven again"! We come from heaven with Jesus.
If we stay on earth after the Trib for the Millennium, how do we avoid being burned up when this happens?

2 Peter 3: [SUP]10 [/SUP]But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Heavens and earth pass away and the works in them are burned up. Do you see that? This happens on the final day of earth. It does not happen when Christ returns because look at the below. Christ is back and we find this passage from Rev 14:

[SUP]13 [/SUP]And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

Works are not being burned up here, they are following those who die in the Lord after Christ has returned. Back to the drawing board Nancy.

We will NOT be here for the Tribulation, but will be coming with Jesus on His glorious and terrible return. His great Judgment on the unbelieving masses doesn't affect us, for we will be presiding over it with Him.

You easily misinterpret scripture to fit in with your ideas. Don't expect me to follow in your footsteps.

Jesus follows after the ancient Hebrew wedding model, and we can see how it is fulfilled:

Seven Days in the Wedding Chamber

The bridegroom would take his bride to the wedding chamber where they would spend seven days. The bridegroom's friend would wait outside the door of the wedding chamber. When the marriage was consummated, the bridegroom would tell his friend through the door, and the friend would announce it to the assembled guests. The guests would celebrate for seven days until the bride and bridegroom emerged from the wedding chamber. At this time the groom would bring his wife out and introduce her to the community.

Jesus' Fulfillment:

Seven Days in the Wedding Chamber

Ancient Jewish eschatology taught that a seven year "time of trouble" would come upon the earth before the coming of the Messiah. During that time of trouble, the righteous would be resurrected and would enter the wedding chamber where they would be protected from the time of trouble. Today that seven year period is referred to, by Christians, as the Tribulation, and as Birth Pangs by the Jews. After 7 years in Heaven the Groom, Christ, will bring His wife to Earth and at the time of His Second Coming He will introduce her to the community on Earth.

Marriage Supper

After seven days in the wedding chamber, the bride and bridegroom would emerge and participate in a feast with friends and family. There would be joyous celebrating during this feast. The feast would conclude the wedding celebration.

Jesus' Fulfillment:

Marriage Supper

As the bride and bridegroom celebrated with a joyous wedding supper, so Jesus and His bride, the church will celebrate the marriage. Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: "Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear." (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints) Then the angel said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!'". Revelation 19:6-9

Depart for Home

Jesus' Fulfillment:
Depart for Home

Just as the bride and bridegroom left the marriage supper to go to the home that the bridegroom had prepared, so Jesus and His bride will depart for their new home. "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes... One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, "Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb." And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.

From the pattern of the ancient wedding practices, we see that, like the bridegroom of ancient times, Jesus came to the home of His bride for the betrothal, made a covenant with His bride and sealed it with a glass of wine, paid the bride price with His life and sent His bride gifts of the Holy Spirit.

We, the betrothed (Christ's Church ) currently await the return of our Bridegroom to take us to the wedding chamber (the rapture ) to spend seven years (while the tribulation occurs on Earth ). We will then celebrate the Marriage Supper of the Lamb and depart with our Bridegroom for our new home, the new Jerusalem. ~ Revelation 21:1-4

How,in your mind does this brick and mortar wife ride a horse, drink wine, and exist as a party to the consumation of the marriage???

Oh,wait.....you catholic? 'cause peter is a rock right???
Not "AS A ROCK" but a real rock ....right????

Alas it is even worse than we thought.
jesus is actually a rock,not a savior,a lamb or a lion......just a rock.

1 cor 10;4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
