when someone responds to you with a quote of yours, as I did above, they can alter it.. read the red highlighted above, and you'll see what I mean.

Your original post can only be edited by you within 5 minutes of posting, or by site staff at any given time (though site staff will more likely delete a post if necessary, not edit it).
When your message is quoted, people can edit the quoted text, as Lady Blue pointed out, but they cannot edit your original post.
The problem is no one replied to me, I just happened to be reading some back posts and finally got to mine. By the way isn't that against forum rules to do as your example shows?

This is really wierd then because no one replied to me. It had to have been someone from site staff.

Strange happenings! You're welcome to bring it up to site staff (use the "View Site Leaders" under "Quick Links" near the top of the page). I don't know who among the staff would bother and not notify you, though.
Do you honestly think it will go anywhere? I don't. Who will claim they did it?

Only site staff can edit posts once it passes the 5 minute edit time. IF someone edited your post it would show as edited and by whom at the bottom of the post. See your post above to see what that would look like.

I'm dubious that you'll get a response, but not taking asking will guarantee you don't get a personal reply about it.
Won't go into the whole thing but I had posted "in" and it had been changed to "of", now what would have been the purpose of that?
It should be, since people can rearrange the post to make it say something different than what you originally posted. On the other hand, if a mod read it and thought there was something inappropriate in it, then they may have edited it, but they usually leave a message saying "edited by (whoever)." Can you tell me where the location of the post is?
I'm gonna explain this: Someone had said you could be Baptized "in" the Holy Spirit. Someone corrected them. The person that started the thread asked what was the problem. I said I thought it was semantics and I had looked up tons of scriptures on baptizm and the Holy Spirit and that I did not find that someone could be batized "in" the Holy Spirit that the norm was Baptized "with" the Holy Spirit.
When I found my post it said "of" instead "in". Clearly someone had changed.
