Well, it seems as though this thread hasn't ended just yet, so why not take a point? This show is far more than the bits of homosexual content dashed here and there. Not to be confused with the possibility that I'm praising Rebecca Sugar's work, I am merely putting my point in. So far (which I have seen every episode to date) Steven Universe proves to be a source of entertainment, life lessons, and complex characters/circumstances that are easily relatable to ages beyond that of the child (which most of don't understand the deeper meanings and nuances). The show, in its idealist form, is about confidence in oneself and others, family (no matter the dynamic - this includes all families featured in the show), individuality, breaking stereotypes, relationships (platonic, romantic, crush, innocent, etc.) kindness, forgiveness, honesty, sacrifice, the collision of innocence and reality, selflessness, acceptance, and much more. Now, even with the homosexual content sprinkled in (though in its idealist form, the love of Garnet represents the unification of two individuals - commitment, love, etc.) I believe that Steven Universe is a powerful show that is educating the youth for the better, as well as entertaining those of us that may be young adults or adults. After all, beyond implicit homosexual content from here to there, what's wrong with the show itself?
At the end, I believe it comes down to this analogy:

Super quick! I just wanted to add in that just because you see it doesn't mean you are tainted or forever changed because of it. Not in my opinion anyways. For example, we are in constant exposure to commercials about how we aren't good enough without this certain product (whether it be fitness videos, beauty products, diet soda/orange juice/etc., home furnishing, etc.). Since we have been in exposure to that, over and over and over and over again, does that mean we are affected by it and now desire that yogurt or training video? No, unless you let that overcome your own self identity and security. This may be a mellow example to some - insufficient of comparison - and if so, raise the stakes. There are plenty of actual shows that feature explicit references and scenes that concern out-of-wedlock activities designed for "full-grown adults". Now, because you have seen a commercial or episode featuring that it ruins your entire spiritual walk? No, I hope not. Sin in all forms and potencies surrounds us (its covers the Earth and ourselves constantly). The best way to avoid all of it, be in the presence of God. Otherwise, especially on television, there are just things we should be able to brisk off. That's just my opinion, night

Meh if you like it, then you like it. Steven Universe isn't some kind of satanic show that is praising Satan or really pushing anything in it. There are way to many positive messages in the show to just throw aside because of one episode. I think every cartoon/TV show is guilty of this. Honestly, as long as it doesn't rule your life, watch it! It's a good show!
I wouldn't stop watching a show you enjoy because some of the characters are gay. We're all God's Children, regardless of sexual orientation, and even the Pope has said that Christians need to be more accepting of LGBTQ people. There are so many good, loving Christians in the world who end up leaving the religion because they can't take the hatred anymore. There's actually nothing in the Bible that's against homosexuality. First of all to people who believe the ones in charge of censorship will change what is portrayed, I really doubt that will happen. Rebecca Sugar, creator of Steven Universe, and the rest of the Crewniverse, name of the team who work to create the show, are purposely including these themes. So I believe the people working for them believe in these themes as well. The television show is also made for a large audience, mainly youth, and is created by many talented people. Changing what has been animated due to disagreeing with themes is wrong because it downgrades the creatoes the creators and the artists who put so much effort into entertaining their audience.
Steven Universe is a beautiful show that addresses many things. The songs are wonderful and the animation is amazing. It makes people feel good and that includes the LGBTQIA+ people. I believe Christians need to respect these people and that includes respecting the show. It also addresses themes such as body type, self doubt ,anxiety and hierachy. Garnet acts as the leader and everyone looks up to her, often wanting to fuse, but she does not like pretending she is strong all the time. Everyone has their moments. Amethyst has a different, curvy body type and feels as she isn't perfect. She was grown in the ground and was meant to appear with the body of a strong soldier but was instead appeared weaker. Pearl has a skinny figure and suffers from self doubt because on Homeworld, where gems originally come from, Pearls are worthless and are only made for serving other gems. (Yes there are more than one of these types of gems) She also is love with Stevens mother, who gave up her physical form to create Seven, and this is not weird because they fought together for thousands of years (yes they are that old). The Crystal Gems fight against gems from the Homeworld because they want to protect Earth. Homeworld wants to take over the Earth and destroy humans but the Crystal Gems have learnt to love everything on Earth. Homeworld is a cruel place. It represents prejudice in the world. The diamonds are at the top of the hierarchy with the rest below them, some treated as worthless and broken. They share different views to the Crystal Gems. This is where fusion comes in.
To those who think fusion is disgusting it is not. It is beautiful. Homeworld only allow fusions between two of the same gems. This is what make Ruby and Sapphire so special. They defy this teaching and fuse together to create Garnet. When they are cast out and escape to Earth they join the Crystal Gems. Here on Earth they are appreciated, their love accepted and they can fuse whenever they want. Fusion can also be unstable for those whose relationship is not steady. Some only desire it to feel stronger. This was the case between Jasper and Lapis. The Crystal Gems often fuse to win battles but don't stay in that form for too long. Ruby and Sapphire always stay as Garnet because their bond is so strong and they love being Garnet. This is not weird, it is just their way of expressing their love for one another. There was one point when the Homeworld gems forced gems to fuse creating monsters made of up just arms and legs. May I make a note that these gems are not fully formed and are shards stuck together. This makes it worse. They have been artificially forced together. Garnet is so distraught over this because fusion is what she lives for. Ruby and Sapphire infuse because of how disturbing this is. Should we not be like the Crystal Gems and support these people?
Also the relationship between Steven，the half gem, and Connie, a human, is not weird at all. Steven acts a normal teenage boy who has a crush on a girl. How is that weird? Steven acts more like a boy just with magical powers. And any person saying before that there was sexually suggestive stuff going on. If a kisses and hugs mean that then there must be a lot of sexually suggestive stuff going on in the world.
If Steven Universe makes you happy then please keep watching it. It makes me happy. We should respect this show. It makes many people happy, especially the younger generation. Many people who are going through situations find the support they need through this show because society may not show the same acceptance. They learn to love themselves and accept others as well. The Crystal Gems help to save gems that the are corrupted or broken, unlike Homeworld. Let us join them as they also help to spread love and acceptance to people in this world. I am proud to call myself a Crystal Gem!

I'm not someone who believes being gay and things is wrong and so for me it's not an issue. I think it shows female empowerment in having strong female characters, as well as having a young boy look up to his mother fogures. It shows that women have strength in them that can be admired by everyone. As for the gay characters, there is really no gay character since the gems are not male or female. On their planet they are just gems since there are no men and they do not reproduce, they are created. On Earth they are women because they look like women to us, and so in that way they are gay but to themselves they are gems. So they says 'she' but its kinda like out version of the word 'it'. Alot to wrap your head around but that's how the show does it lol furthermore Stevonnie isn't a trans character. Connie is the stronger between them and so that's why Stevonnie looks like a female. It's also why when Jasper and Lapis fuse their fusions looks more manly since Jasper is much more masculine and stronger than Lapis. Pearl and Rose were in love but Rose didn't love Pearl to the same level, as Pearls love was both administration and devotion and idiolization ect. Rose felt it wasn't really what love is. At least in my opinion. So you ask if you should stop watching this show because it shows support of LGBT people, but really there are only 3 gay characters out og the other 30 or so. While I have a belief in god I wouldn't say I'm a Christian and maybe that means I am biased but I think it's stance on the LGBT is why people should watch it. Steven is a young boy being raised by three women who love and adore him and would do anything for him, by his father who doesn't understand him and his abilities but does his best to support him. That love is more important than the sexuality of a few characters to me. Garnet is a representation of not only gay relationships but love in general and that is takes communication and understanding and honesty to find it, which is a good message for the pre-teens who are starting to have crushed and so on. Steven himself is using these lessons to treat Connie with respect and friendship and that's is brilliant in my book. I know this post is a few years off but I certainly hope you haven't stopped watching because of its gay stance. Gay is okay, and treating people with love is our human requirement, regardless of faith. The show isn't pushing a gay agenda since the gay agenda is just to be allowed to love each other without shame from others. No one shamed Garnet for being what she is, and that's the only 'agenda' type thing about the show. The main point of the show is to see a boy learning to control his powers from his kick butt female mentors. I saw others suggested Adventure Time but that's made by many of the people on Steven Universe, the main being Rebecca Sugar who is bisexual. They said Daffy Duck has less violence but I remember bombs and rockets and guns happening for comedic affect in those shows. Steven only fights to protect himself, never to cause harm or for a joke, and neither do the gems. So just watch the show and become a Period and open yourself up to things you wouldn't normally be open to
