Jesus taught deny yourself as grace does

Titus 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Thats what the apostles taught

I still dont understand where the deception is in my post, can you point it out for me?
Mockers who follow their own lusts and those that heap up teachers after their own lusts. Its pretty clear that self denial will not be popular with such (and among such) in the last of days.
In religion and the great deception.........self denial will be taught for salvation. It why even the elect could be deceived. The elect aren't deceived by a "life style of sin." But they can be deceived by their own self righteousness and human good/evil deeds.

As believers we can grieve(sin) and quench(religion) the Spirit. We need to recognize when we do this and get back in fellowship. If we don't we will be living in the flesh. And for Christians, most of the time this is doing human good deeds in the flesh, that are evil in the sight of the Lord.

If you read this out loud in a robot voice ....it's really funny. :)

I have a 4 year old nephew that does that.

I would never have thought that in 39 more years he might still be doing some of those same things.

Well, I play with colorful cyber crayons so I try to put forth a little space

What does your post have to do with denying yourself as Jesus taught and its deception?
