OSAS believes there's no end time apostasy of the church in the last days. They believe it's impossible for a saint to apostasize. They claim such people that do weren't saved in the first place. Yet the scriptures say it will happen. One can't fall away from what they were never a part of, can they?

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 (KJV) [SUP]3 [/SUP]Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day(of judgement) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; [SUP]4 [/SUP]Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Hebrews 6:4-6 (KJV) [SUP]4 [/SUP]For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, [SUP]5 [/SUP]And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, [SUP]6 [/SUP]If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Matthew 7:13-14 (KJV) [SUP]13 [/SUP]Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: [SUP]14 [/SUP]Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Luke 13:23-27 (KJV) [SUP]23 [/SUP]Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, [SUP]24 [/SUP]Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. [SUP]25 [/SUP]When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: [SUP]26 [/SUP]Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. [SUP]27 [/SUP]But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

Now, to the readers, I have a challenge: If the above scriptures are true (they are), they all agree that there's a majority & a minority in the last days. The majority will believe they're saved, but are not; the minority will be. Since the majority are not, what will be their fruit? The Bible tells us we will know them by their fruit.

This majority will show pride, arrogance, & hatred for the minority. Their actions will prove it. This minority is always accused of all kinds of atrocities without biblical foundation. We all know who the accuser of the brethren is.
I've got news for you. I also don't believe in End Times as is preached today. Oh well!

But, which arrogance are you, the majority or minority?

The fact is most have rejected the bible for man-made teachings and that is why you have all religious groups that are full division and contradiction......which the bible consistenlty condemns.

Psa 127:1 "Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain."

Mt 15:13 "But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up."

Eph 4:4,5 "There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism,"

Anything not of that one body, one faith was built in vain and will be rooted up.
you are exempt from listening to man made teachings and of being divided?

The best sure-fired way to go to hell is to break out guitars and play How great Thou Art in worship service. That may be the dumbest thing I've ever written in my life.
Putting my flute and guitar away

I want mine Black also but with fire-engine Red glitter text. And can you add the word: "FORGIVEN" on the shirt, too? Size ladies medium. Thanks. :)

I accept the bible and reject all the contradictions and division. Doing that will not make one popular among the majority that go along with the "believe what ever you want even if we contradict each other and the bible for we will all be saved just taking different routes to heaven for one group is just as good as another" idea.

There has been, and will continue to be, differences, disagreements, contradictions among what people believe which the bible condemns. Therefore each person must make up his/her mind as to what they will believe and there is coming a "rooting up" day, a day of judgment when those that chose to follow the wrong, false teachings will be rooted up, the contradictions, divisions will be rooted up.

My edition of the Bible does not have a John 5:48.

Regeneration, birth, John 1; 3; 1 Peter 1; Romans 8, cannot be undone
Neither does anyone else's. It must be a typo.

What if you when you went to your sons baseball game you focused on the loss or what he did wrong instead of what he did right, or how he lost the game with dignity and honor? Shame based religion is not from God.
Who said I focused on the loss? I don't focus on the loss. Recognizing the ways to lose and avoid them, ensures victory

What if it's you that has been deceived? What if you have followed the religion of man? What if Jesus says...sorry seabass, your works were there own reward and you spent to much time in religion and not enough in relationship?

So does a coach train his team what NOT to do, or does he train them on what TO do?

Thats because people can't get past vain imaginations and hold every thought captive. ie....the focus is on nonexistent sin vs the truth of grace.
My bad! Maybe you should have said that

I was looking at Hebrews 6:4-6
I am on my tablet and it won't copy and paste right so I just gave the location of the verses but I noticed that in verse 6 it said if they should fall away and I was thinking wouldn't they have to be saved before it would be possible to fall away?

If it is not possible to fall away why would GOD inspire the writer of Hebrews to even bother warning us of that since its not possible to fall away.

Sounds like it saying that if you were really saved you can't fall away but I am going to warn you about it even though you don't have to worry about it.

People that are not saved can't fall away so why even put that in the bible if it's talking to unsaved people

I believe that they were and are saved.

Fall away from what is the question?

Any believer can fall away from the Lord. Any time we grieve or quench the Spirit, we have fallen away. And we need to rebound......1 John 1:9 to return.

Its up to us if we want to insert loss of salvation into "fall away."

Heb 6:4-6 is dealing with quenching(religion) the Spirit. Not grieving the Spirit.

They were going back into religion. We all fall from grace if we return to religion. It doesn't say we fall from eternal life.

We all fall away every time we sin or turn to our flesh to do the "right" thing.

Good point! Why would that be there? Why is "remain in me and I will remain in you" there if its impossible to leave?

When, over time, a society moves from a clear majority of believers, and a general openness to the Gospel to a clear majority of unbelievers and a general unreceptiveness to the gospel; there has been a great falling away; even if nobody has lost faith.

Because it is possible for each of go backwards at times. Are you always energetic and happy and rainbows and sunshine follow you wherever you go? I know I'm not. Sometimes I'm too tired to hungry and a little to crabby.
