When I first heard about the heaven is for real thing I didn't believe it and it turns out I was right not to as it was proven to be made it, and honestly I don't believe this one either

To be absent with the body is to be present with the Lord

Well....who really knows for sure....and for sure in the grand scheme of things Jesus is coming soon.....maybe children in their innocence can see some things we cannot see.....

I am not convinced either way. My children grasped on to our reactions as parents, and did the things that made us laugh, and the things that made us impressed, and the things that made us react positively.

All it takes is leading the child once to such a thing, and give good feedback, and the child will be conditioned to respond that way consistently.
18 month olds are not as ignorant as we pretend they are. They love attention, and will figure out ways of keeping it.

All the more reason to be careful just what we might be throwing out with the bathwater.

Which toddler wins?

My 2-year-old just saw Jesus, and Jesus told him he's NOT coming back soon.

So which toddler wins?

I have a crazy idea...
how about instead of being so lazy we let toddlers determine out theology,
we actually try READING THE BIBLE.

And a donkey couldn't have asked Balaam why he was beating him?

Over the years, I have learned that the more unlikely it is to our human minds, the more likely God is going to use such an avenue to our souls.

Nah, by 18months most kids have enough vocab (sure it's not pronounced right) to say basically anything that needs saying. Some kids gain that skill faster than others. One of my daughters was using full (simple) sentences by 20 months.
The title of the video is a bit misleading. The child was over 2, according to the full story, when the event in question occurred about her seeing Jesus.

Anyone remember what Gamaliel said to the Sanhedrin when that "wise" body of men KNEW they were so right?

This is just nonsense! You won't believe an event witnessed by 70,000 people including faithful and secular, but you will believe this? I have bridges on discount right now! Hurry and don't miss my low, low prices!!!!

Ya know...
I'm almost certain that 2 Timothy 2:15 commands us to STUDY THE SCRIPTURE to rightly understand God's truth.

Hmmm.
I dunno... I could be wrong.
Maybe it says to just ask your 1-year-old about eschatology.
Yeah.
That's probably what it says in 2 Timothy.
I'm probably mistaken.

: )

I've raised 4 children and I have 4 preschool grandchildren. Children that are one simply do not have the vocabulary to say such a thing. Not even a two year old would be able to say it.

At one, most kids have about 2 or 3 words. By 18 months that climbs to about 20 words, and by two, maybe 100 words. Plus, the concept of a "coming soon" would also be WAY over the head of a one year old.

More nonsense from the internet, no doubt about it.

I won't utterly dismiss it, on the basis of: I have no reason to.
But I won't believe it as revelation, based on my experience with young kids doing this type of this for the sake of approval and positive attention.

Hey, "Single-Eyed", (half blind?) did I say this child was predicting the "Endtimes?" You should know by now that I don't believe in that book-selling hogwash.... BUT, if an event like this gets people to reading their Bibles, and turning their thoughts toward God, then it is no one but a fool who would dare to decide God can't use something like this.

Did the one year old get a book deal out of it?

How many one year olds are going to keep trying to capitalize off the whole "Jesus is coming back soon" craze? Sheesh.
It's getting old.
