To me, the government allowed a legal contract they Called "marriage". It is just a word I don't give power to. A marriage is only the way God set it up to be - a covenant between man and woman.

The world is just setting itself for judgment - We are not told us to judge the world. We are told by Jesus to pray for harvesters to go out and harvest what is ready for the Kingdom. He even said He did not come to judge the world. That will come later.

I think this is a very distracting thing for all Christians at this time. We should be watching to see where Christ IS working, and join Him - continue our calling - and not neglect our gifts for each other - especially our time or true praise and worship.

Satan wins this battle only if it takes our eyes off of Christ.

Those words have been quoted ever since as the supreme vindication of representative government. Indeed, they are often quoted as proof of American exceptionalism. But the words were not Lincoln’s. Most of his hearers would have recognized their source, as our generation typically does not. They came from the prologue to what was probably the earliest translation of the Bible into the English language: “This Bible is for the government of the people, for the people and by the people.”

Uh, we don't see a connection between our actions and the weather, our inability to combat terrorism, food prices rising and looming shortages, national calamities? I would challenge any and al to read Lev 26 and Deut 28 in the light of the fact that we are Manasseh and Israel's name is named on us (and our brother Ephraim, Great Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand).

GOD may have just washed his hands of protecting the USA.

Mac: God has not been protecting the USA nor has He said He was.

We CEASED to be One Nation Under GOD.

Mac: we are not a nation under God we murder are enemies not love them.

I lost my pride in what the USA has become.

It will be hard to have the same deep sense of Patriotism that I once had.

The USA has become the leader of the world in the Great Falling Away.

The USA has become a nation that snubs her nose at GOD.

Mac: Not become it has almost been all the time.

SOON pro-gay marriage people will be filing Law Suites against Churches that refuse to Marry them or refuse to permit them Membership.

My Flag now flies ONLY FOR THE VETERANS AND OUR SERVICE MEN, and no longer for the USA.

For the fist time in my life, I would like to live in another Country.

If we as a people lose faith in our courts what is left? This can be corrected but it will take the moral will of a lot of people to make it happen.

Those who cannot get redress in the courts will often seek it in the streets. Anarchy is not far off if trust is not restored.

This ruling opens the door for any kind of marriage you can dream of now. Folks will be able to marry ten wives if they want them or marry their pets if they are in love.

As Christians we are living by a different set of "rules" if you will than those who are non-Christians. Jesus never forced anyone to live by his standards...in fact God does not want those that worship him as robots, but in spirit and in truth. While I do not agree with same sex marriage, just as Christ could not force someone to accept him, we cannot force others to accept our viewpoint. If someone wants to marry the same sex who are we as Christians to point our fingers at them and say YOU CANNOT DO THIS, especially if they are living by a different set of "rules". We live for Christ, they live for themselves we cannot force them to live for Christ the same way they cannot force us to live against Christ, and to be honest no one is forcing any of us to marry one of the same sex. Jesus gave us a choice we can choose to accept him or we can turn it down. If someone wants to choose to live in sin...who am I to demand that they don't? who am I to say I forbid you to turn down Jesus...that's not love...Jesus never forced anyone to accept him...I'll let God be the judge as I know he does a much better job than any Christian out there at it myself included. Someone wants to turn down Christ's offer of salvation, while it pains me to see it, they are in their right to say no. Let's focus on those who want to know Jesus who want to say Yes to his proposal of Salvation. Let's focus on the hungry the "poor" the "widows" and the "orphans".

I congratulate the USA for recognizing a human right that has long been denied to a small group of people. This is not a zero sum game, recognizing the rights of a minority does not decrease the rights of the majority. This enhances marriage ---- it does not diminish marriage.

As long as they do not call themselves Christians, then you may have a point.

However once they want to identify themselves with Christianity then we are obligated to teach them to obey everything HE has commanded, including confessing and repenting of sexual sins.

Since 5 worldly minded (Democratic politically correct) Judges seem to think their position gives them the Authority to change the definition of Marriage, which GOD has already defined in HIS word; I think all of our Christian Churches should react by reissuing EVERY "Marriage Certificate", removing the word Marriage and Entitling it as a "HOLY MATRIMONY CERTIFICATE".

"In God We Trust" became the USA's official motto in 1956 and was printed
on American currency beginning in 1957. That motto is way overdue to be
removed because I seriously doubt there are enough people in the USA
trusting in God anymore to justify its use. I'd even go so far as to say that
God is insulted by that motto because He knows it isn't true.
