a nation that is supposed to be governed by the people such as the U.S.
bingo!
a nation ought to be governed by God, not "the people" -- and the people here don't all happen to be Christian.

For me I think a great deal happened.
GOD may have just washed his hands of protecting the USA.
Mac: God has not been protecting the USA nor has He said He was.
We CEASED to be One Nation Under GOD.
Mac: we are not a nation under God we murder are enemies not love them.
I lost my pride in what the USA has become.
It will be hard to have the same deep sense of Patriotism that I once had.
The USA has become the leader of the world in the Great Falling Away.
The USA has become a nation that snubs her nose at GOD.
Mac: Not become it has almost been all the time.
SOON pro-gay marriage people will be filing Law Suites against Churches that refuse to Marry them or refuse to permit them Membership.
My Flag now flies ONLY FOR THE VETERANS AND OUR SERVICE MEN, and no longer for the USA.
For the fist time in my life, I would like to live in another Country.
Isaiah 5:20-21 (ASV)
[SUP]20 [/SUP] Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
[SUP]21 [/SUP] Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 (NKJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you,
[SUP]2 [/SUP] not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,
Bye. I mean I understand its against the bible but you're willing to leave because roughly 3.5% of the population can now get married? Over-reaction much?
If we as a people lose faith in our courts what is left? This can be corrected but it will take the moral will of a lot of people to make it happen.
Those who cannot get redress in the courts will often seek it in the streets. Anarchy is not far off if trust is not restored.
This ruling opens the door for any kind of marriage you can dream of now. Folks will be able to marry ten wives if they want them or marry their pets if they are in love.
For the cause of Christ

Absolutely!! AMEN! There is no excuse.NO, because a small minority FORCED IT'S WILL ON THE MAJORITY. If you think I over reacted, then you had better seriously read all of the following:
Romans 1[SUP]28 [/SUP] Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done.
I congratulate the USA for recognizing a human right that has long been denied to a small group of people. This is not a zero sum game, recognizing the rights of a minority does not decrease the rights of the majority. This enhances marriage ---- it does not diminish marriage.
Oh that fluid, living document that's always changing to the times? It may happen but we can not go just jumping the gun just yet, as those people will not win their cases unless the freedom of religion gets taken out of the constitution first !!!
As Christians we are living by a different set of "rules" if you will than those who are non-Christians. Jesus never forced anyone to live by his standards...in fact God does not want those that worship him as robots, but in spirit and in truth. While I do not agree with same sex marriage, just as Christ could not force someone to accept him, we cannot force others to accept our viewpoint. If someone wants to marry the same sex who are we as Christians to point our fingers at them and say YOU CANNOT DO THIS, especially if they are living by a different set of "rules". We live for Christ, they live for themselves we cannot force them to live for Christ the same way they cannot force us to live against Christ, and to be honest no one is forcing any of us to marry one of the same sex. Jesus gave us a choice we can choose to accept him or we can turn it down. If someone wants to choose to live in sin...who am I to demand that they don't? who am I to say I forbid you to turn down Jesus...that's not love...Jesus never forced anyone to accept him...I'll let God be the judge as I know he does a much better job than any Christian out there at it myself included. Someone wants to turn down Christ's offer of salvation, while it pains me to see it, they are in their right to say no. Let's focus on those who want to know Jesus who want to say Yes to his proposal of Salvation. Let's focus on the hungry the "poor" the "widows" and the "orphans".
Gay marriage is as much of a right in God's eyes as robbing a blind woman. You are pathetic as a so called Christian.I congratulate the USA for recognizing a human right that has long been denied to a small group of people. This is not a zero sum game, recognizing the rights of a minority does not decrease the rights of the majority. This enhances marriage ---- it does not diminish marriage.
I just consider the source. It's weird when one is unsure of their spiritual standing but very sure when it comes to God and what He instituted...View attachment 123133 My thoughts
To me, the government allowed a legal contract they Called "marriage". It is just a word I don't give power to. A marriage is only the way God set it up to be - a covenant between man and woman.
The world is just setting itself for judgment - We are not told us to judge the world. We are told by Jesus to pray for harvesters to go out and harvest what is ready for the Kingdom. He even said He did not come to judge the world. That will come later.
I think this is a very distracting thing for all Christians at this time. We should be watching to see where Christ IS working, and join Him - continue our calling - and not neglect our gifts for each other - especially our time or true praise and worship.
Satan wins this battle only if it takes our eyes off of Christ.
