They are scard to talk to God. I mean who isn't? he's very powerful. But thats not the reason they pray to her. this Link should explain why http://www.patheos.com/blogs/standingonmyhead/2012/04/do-catholics-worship-mary.html
No need to be scared. Jesus said, "let not your hearts be troubled." (John 14: 1-4) :)

Also, check out Luke 12:32 (hint: it's the blue wording at the bottom of my posts) :)

Yes and no.

Only if they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and receive the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

The Roman Catholic Church teaches that nobody can know if they will enter Heaven until after they die. The Roman Catholic Church teaches that Salvation is receive by doing MANY "Good Works".

Most Roman Catholics will never enter into Heaven.
No, the Roman Catholic Church teaches that nobody can know if ANOTHER PERSON will enter the Kingdom.
The Roman Catholic Church teaches that no Good Work can save a man. In fact, the Roman Catholic Church teaches that if one is not a Christian, it is IMPOSSIBLE to do a Good Work, because that person is not indwelt by the Holy Spirit.

No,
No any religions can go to Heaven.
I can I prove it, I don't know enough the Bible
to send you verses about that.
But My mom has discovered full of horrible things
that happened in Catholicism like priests who raped children,
and Mary is not God at all....

The Roman Catholic Church also teaches that Mary was without sin. The Holy Spirit teaches that ALL have sinned, even Mary. There is no Truth in the Roman Catholic Church.

Romans 3:9-12
[SUP]9 [/SUP]For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin.
[SUP]10 [/SUP] As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one;
[SUP]11 [/SUP] There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God.
[SUP]12 [/SUP] They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one."
Romans 3:23
[SUP]23 [/SUP] for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Only Jesus Christ was without sin, not Jesus Christ and Mary. Mary was born a sinner and died a sinner.

Hebrews 4:15
[SUP]15 [/SUP] For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

The Roman Catholic Church teaches lies from Satan as Truths from God. There is no Truth in the Roman Catholic Church.

Catholics are not only very unlikely place their faith in Jesus because they fail to get passed their worship of Mary, the saints, the use of totems (rosaries, medallions, etc), their worship of the pope, etc.

Catholics believe that only through the catholic church can you be saved. Apparently Jesus isn't the ways, the truth, and the life, rcc is.

Catholics believe that Mary was sinless and is able to forgive their sins and grant prayer. Apparently everyone, except Mary have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Catholics believe that works are a necessary part of working your way to salvation, not the fruits that flow from those Christ saved. Apparently God sent his only begotten Son that whosever believes in him shall have to work their way into everlasting life.

Catholics believe that baptism is what saves the person, not Christ. Apparently Jesus said to the thief on the cross, truly today you will be in paradise as long as you get baptized for that sin of yours.

Catholics believe that you cant be saved without taking sacraments and that they change into human flesh and blood. Apparently Jesus is also literally a door, a light, a loaf of life bread, and a vine. He also apparently told his disciples this is literally my blood, not wine, sorry but heaven is reserved for cannibals. And he also apparently ignored to tell them the part about his blood being the covenant, a clear indication of a metaphor.

Catholics believe That only the rcc can interpret scripture correctly, kind of like jehovah's witnesses. Apparently the Holy Spirit never went into the believers at pentecost.

Theres more, but i think the point is made.

Im just wondering. Ive heard different different things but i want to what truth is. Yes the bible says to love God(jesus) alone, But it doesn't say anything about this Mary person they believe in. Im a baptist and all i know and understand about catholics is they are too scared to ask God things so they ask Mary. But Can they still go heven? Mary is like hardly in my bible. lol
You said you wanted the truth about Catholics and here it is, First we are in Heaven now so I am assuming you mean the place were the Saints end up and again this Heaven we call earth is were most will end up. Keep in mind Catholics and Protestants are the same but just with a few different rules long ago some protested the Pope's rules and Protest-ism was born.

BTW the dead are still dead and know nothing because that is why it is called death. Only after Jesus returns will the dead start to come back...

And the rhetorical question is...

"Can Protestants go to Heaven"?

And the answer is: BOTH will get to heaven if they know the Lord Jesus as Lord and Saviour!

QED!
Amen. There are several Catholics whom I am very much looking forward to meeting there. :)

Personally, I am not under the authority of RCC, or the pope for that matter. I admitted that I am a Catholic. When I got married last year I started to attend the denomination of my wife. While I have attended mass on a regular basis for most of my life I was never a devote Catholic as I found a lot of the teaching to be contrary to the bible. A lot of teaching, but not all of the teaching.

Most of the Catholics that I know are born-again Christians. In not one instance has anyone that is born again been excommunicated from the church.

A prayer of salvation is said during every Mass. The church teaches that salvation comes only from Jesus.

As far as nuns are concerned, I have not talked to one since the age of 12. Where is it that you are in contact with nuns and also, why?

I place my faith in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The pope is the leader of the RCC but he is still a man and I certainly am not under his authority.
May God bless you, sir, and your lovely wife as well. :)

they can get saved just like anyone else in the world , if they repent and turn to God through grace and faith in Jesus Christ. they usually don't though, because they don't want to give up their idolatry.
In other words, they can IN SPITE of what the Roman Catholicism teaches about salvation and NOT BECAUSE of what they teach about salvation.

Yes Catholics can Inherit the Kingdom of God and I am living proof of it!

Its very easy!

First you reject everything about Mary that is taught in the Catholic Church.

Second you get on your knees and confess that Jesus is God and accept the Salvation He has for you by Faith and Grace.

Third you open the Bible up and ask the Holy Spirit to show you His Truths in the Scriptures.

Do these and you will enter into Heaven.

Well how I see it is Catholics not only can get to heaven if they do a few miracles along the way they get promoted to 'Sainthood' It is a very insecure position as the Pope can demote them as well. Poor old St Christopher is one example.
I wonder what he finds to do these days? Just Kidding

That was possibly the quickest "Like" in forum history, Tanach.
But it was a breath of fresh air to see your post amongst all those who take things so seriously here.

Panache, Tanach !

There are certain churches (like the Roman Catholic church) that teach a false gospel, which will lead all of those to their doom, who strictly follow the teachings of their church. But those who believe the gospel of Christ, and not just whatever their church teaches, are saved regardless of the church with which they are associated. Conversely, one's church may truly teach the gospel of Christ which is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who BELIEVES.. (Romans 1:16) If one truly believes the gospel, then one is saved. But if one does not believe it, then one is lost even though the official teaching of one's church is correct. I was raised in the Roman Catholic church but ended up getting saved IN SPITE of what they taught and NOT BECAUSE of what they taught.
