It is sad that laws are being made by the Supreme Court instead of by the elected officials.
In Canada, we have gay marriage, but at least it was a law enacted by parliament, our elected officials. Plus, the second part of the law in Canada was that no one will be forced to perform a marriage which violates their religious beliefs. That includes a lot more than Christians - Sikhs, Hindus, Muslims etc also are protected under this law.
That is what happened in Canada 10 years ago. It is called compromising. No one imposing their will on others. I really fear for the backlash and the continued gay agenda in the US, in which Hollywood has led the way in convincing people that gay marriage is ok. To say nothing of what might happen in the churches, such as gay couples demanding to be accepted in the church, even if they were married elsewhere.
I don't like to comment on politics in other countries, but from what I see here and especially on FB, this decision has totally polarized the American public and nothing good is going to come out of it.
