Bishop Ussher's date for the Flood was 2348 BC, which would be 4363 years ago.

Dr. Dino (Kent Hovind) and Henry Morris (father of the modern YEC cult movement) and Ken Ham and his YEC propaganda machine Answers in Genesis give dates for the Flood very close to the 2348 BC.

They cannot waver much from this date because if they do so their entire YEC model falls apart.

Not that the YEC model has any credibility to begin with.

Do you believe in the virgin birth? That Mary had Jesus without knowing the touch of a man? To the best of my knowledge that hasn’t happened again nor had any peer reviewed papers written on it, so how do you feel about that one?

Do you believe that Jesus did the miracles written about in the bible, like walking on water, healing the sick and crippled, raising the dead, multiplying the loafs and fish, etc., etc…? Again there is no way to scientifically prove any of that. As a Christian, do you believe any of that took place? Where do you stand on these issues?

Now for the big one, do you believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was put in a tomb for 3 days, and was resurrected defeating sin and death and making a way to reconcile the sinner with God?

All right fair enough but I would really like answers to my questions as well after I answer these, unless you just want to be exposed as a troll by not answering them.

1. Why do you believe that the Earth is around 6,000 years old? I don’t claim to know how old the earth is, I’ve never even added up all the dates given in the Bible myself, nor have I EVER claimed it to be 6,000 years old. I simply have no idea how old it is, but I do not feel it’s millions or billions of years old because the Bible doesn’t account for that much time from my understanding when I read it. All that said I really don’t spend too much time on it.
2. Why do you believe that there was a global flood 4,000 to 5,000 years ago? Again I’m not sure of the exact dates, but yes I believe there was a global flood, and that is where all the fossils came from, along with the coal and oil deposits. I also think that the history of ancient civilizations, and where they started and spread from, their own religions and beliefs all seem to line up very well with the flood account in my opinion.
3. Why do you believe that dinosaurs coexisted with humans? Because I understand the Bible to say that ALL life on earth was created in the same week and that would have to include dinosaurs, I also think Behemoth described in Job 40:15 is a description of a Dinosaur. I don’t have a “peer reviewed paper” to prove that to you, but when God revealed Himself to me forever ripping the veil that convinced me His word was true. It’s really that simple for me, I KNOW God and believe His word to be my authority period. So you can chop it all up to me being “one of those insane Bible believers”, and yes I know there are others that believe the bible that do see millions of years, and that’s fine with me, it’s just not what Gods shown me or confirmed in my heart.

I think you said that you have only been a Christian for a short time. I have been, only since 9-28-13, but hardly see what that has to do with the price of tea in China. You say you ARE a Christian yet seem to do nothing but question His word, how does that work? I am very curious to hear some of your reasoning is for becoming a Christian, and what you think makes one a Christian in the first place.
