Welcome.
At the top of the New Users page is a thread for new users with a visual guide. I'd link it but I'm on my phone at the moment.
My here are forums (where you're at now) which are not real time and responses can be minutes or hours in coming.
Chat rooms are real time chats with an option to use mic and hear others and even use a cam if you choose to.

Can somebody please help? I'm not a Christian I don't guess you could say but I'm scared of everything that's going to happen. I've read up on the previous events and I have no clue what to do

The first thing you have to do is to evaluate your relationship God. If you want peace in your heart you will have to confess your past sinful life to Jesus, ask for forgiveness and invite Him into your heart. From that point on you walk in His light. Welcome to CC.

what specifically do you mean by previous events?
The bible is clear that if you belong to God (As him to forgive your sins, believe in Jesus and ask him to guide you), you cannot be taken away from God by any power.
