How can anyone possibly credibly define evolution as a religion?

Evolutionary agent is, Evolutionists claim that quantum physics, random chance, natural processes, natural selection and mutations are the underlying mechanisms for Evolution itself, but, Evolutionists have not been able to create one animal or creature or life form from scratch with the elements of this planet earth with those evolutionary mechanisms mentioned, Evolutionists also claim that it takes millions of years for these processes to work and create life forms, but, like it has been mentioned by many-those evolutionary mechanisms don't work, so all evolution has is millions of years, so is billions or millions of years the
evolutionary agent?
