WAY TOO MUCH. Way...too...much...
Then the people are all like, "Your voice is beautiful! Sing us another song!" and then it goes on for another 5 minutes, because they dare not pick a short song to sing.
I don't sing too much in public because even if I do have a decent voice you wouldn't know it because I'd choke up.

So I was going to change my strings today...and unfortunately, I was only able to half do it. See, I didn't realize that when the youth pastor gave me the strings on Sunday, it just had the E, A, and G. There was no D B, and the other E. So...now it's only half-done. I most likely can't go out and the other half tonight.
And I'm bored to pieces.

It's just me messing around on my guitar, playing some clips of a few different songs. I don't have any songs worth recording in full length, so I just made a bunch of small instrumentals and mashed it up into one video.

Finally, the book I've been anticipating for ages has come in the mail!
The Genesis Account: A theological, historical, and scientific commentary on Genesis 1-11 by Dr. Jonathan Sarfati is a landmark book; the most in-depth commentary on early Genesis ever published. This book is huge, just shy of 800 pages. I'm excited!
As the title suggests, the book's focus lies in the first eleven chapters of the Bible, where you'll find the foundations for the most important Christian doctrines. And yet the world, and sadly now much of the Church, claim it's nothing but myth (truthful myth for believers). Fortunately, this is simply not true. We can trust God's Word completely. Genesis is truthful history from the very first word! Hallelujah!

Purely from a scoreboard perspective, yes.
There were no complications to my knowledge.
I felt no pain (because I wasn't awake).
I have four less teeth.
I woke back up.
The final "went well criteria," I will likely not know until I allow the pain meds to wear off, which the surgeon does not want me to do. Even not doing so, he says I will feel pain for sure on Wednesday, and at that point, the 800mg ibuprofin will no longer be sufficient, and I will then be taking acetametophin dosed with CODEINE. I have been prescribed my first opiate. (I may also take them for sleepy times if needed.) As I mentioned, I have been instructed to not "allow the pain to point me to the meds, but to medicate proactively," but with the codeine, I have only 20, so I don't if I should try them later tonight, or wait for the pain to overtake the ibuprofin first. But I will be looking forward to that pain.
Oh, not because of the opiates, of course. So that I know that the mandibular nerve that runs through my jaw was not damaged during the surgery, and I won't have to live with a permanently-numbed jaw for the rest of my life. As most of you know, this could have a pretty significant effect on my career and livelihood. So until I can add THAT to my list above...no nerve damage to the jaw...then I will be 100% certain that the procedure went well.
I'm a pessimist, I know. But I'm also a wind musician, who just voluntarily knocked himself out of commission for a few days, and hopefully not forever. :/
