It is all about Israel. The people who were persecuting the Children of Israel throughout the ages are the same people doing it today and into the future. Christendom is not a false religion although certain sects have doctrinal issues. Idol worship = worship of false god(s) = harlotry. If you are the Mother of such worship, you are the biggest. Islam is the biggest false religion, by far, on the planet. I'm sorry it still remains a mystery to you my friend.
Islam is so obviously Mystery Babylon that most can't recognize it for what it is. She beheads, she kills prophets and saints, she lives luxuriously with her oil. Her kings are filthy rich while her people are among the poorest. The 3rd seal is about this. The 4th seal discusses a people who make up 1/4 of the world. The color of this horse is green which is the official color of Islam. They kill by all the means mentioned. They think their actions will get them to heaven, but Hades follows them instead. They have taken peace from the earth. The world will never be at peace as long as Islam is around.
Pattern and parallel my dear fellow, the natural nation of Israel which stemmed from Joseph [Israel] remained the property of Almighty God as long as the Shekinah light remained in the Most Holy. This however disappeard in 607 B.C.E. when God cast off the nation and allowed it to be taken into captivity by Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon.
Now on its release as prophesied, by Cyrus the Persian who was named in prophecy 193 years before their release in 539 B.C.E., Although the Temple was rebuilt and later the city; the Shekinah light never returned to the Most Holy.
This was brought notably to their attention years later when Jeus pointed at the Temple and declared: "Look! Your house is abandoned to you!" (Matthew 23:38)
This of course angered the Pharisees and the Sadducees who had been keeping this a secret since 539 B.C.E.
The reason for this change was that the Shekinah light was a foreshadow of the greater Shekinah, Jesus Christ himself who declared: "I am the light of the world." (John 8:12)
As for Jerusalem, this also was a literal foreshadow of the heavenly Israel of God, confirmed in the words of the Apostle Paul who declared: ""...the Jerusalem today, is in slavery with her children. But the Jerusalem above is free, and she is our Mother." (Galatians 4:25, 26)
Paul also went on to explain the difference between the fleshly Jew and the Jew of the Israel of God: "For he is not a Jew who is one on the outside, nor is circumcision that which is on the outside upon the flesh. But he is a Jew who is one on the inside, and his circumcision is that of the heart by the spirit, and not by a written code." (Romans 2:28, 29)
Babylon the Great is not Islam, because Islam does no cavort with all the nations of the world as is described of Babylon: "Come, I will show you the judgement of the great harlot who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, whereas those who inhabit the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication." (Revelation 17:1, 2)
This fornication with the kings of the earth began almost two thousand years ago [long before Islam existed!] when Emperor Theodosius I in 380 C.E.declared that: "All those embracing the Trinity shall henceforth be known as Catholic." so was born the Catholic Church with its first Pope Damasus and not Peter as they try to claim. In the meantime, the original followers of 'The Way' rejected this and continued as the original members did under the Apostles. (Acts 19:9, 23)
Yes, because the true Christians and followers of 'The Way' refused to follow Christendom and its later many divisions; they we persecuted, beheaded, impaled and even shot by the bow; later some were even burnt at the stake!
Every church and movement today has originated from a man-made foundation as I have already stated with proof.
As for the Israel of God [heavenly Jerusalem]; she rose to meet the Lord in the air when as the Prince of the Sanctuary, Jesus in his capacity as Michael, gathered his forces and there was war in heaven and World War on the earth covering a period of thirty years [1914-1945] whereby Satan was cast down to the vicinity of the earth where he is now causing havoc during this last generation of this present world order. (Daniel 12:1; Revelation 12:7-12)
It is the cutting short of the great tribulation (Matthew 24:21, 22) which is brought about by the adverse conditions now building up in the earth such as the environment which is warming steadily, the active chemism from the sun which is causing a mutaion of all life on the eath including germs and viruses, and the seady rising of the oceans when once the South Pole has melted; they waters will have risen by 70 metres!

. I can't find anything in the historic record that ties to the number of days (or years) that we are given for the end of the daily and the A of D post Jesus. I tested the Dome of the Rock and the Kaaba Stone/Mecca to no avail. There are a ton of similarities between what Muhammad did and what the King of the North is said to do in Dan 11:29-31 but too much doesn't fit.
