Just as long as none of the damage was permanent.

By the way I love that avatar. I know some people who watch TV that way.
Might be, might not be. lol

And thanks. :D The Awkward Yeti is one of the very few comics I follow. I swear, I relate to every other one they put out.

Apparently from the article below, "by seeding the atmosphere with chemicals such as silver iodide or dry ice".

Article: How does cloud seeding work?| Explore | physics.org

"Success has been claimed for trials in Australia, France, Spain and the US. In the United Arab Emirates, the technique is credited with the creation of 52 storms in the Abu Dhabi desert, while China boasts of having used the technology in reverse to keep the Beijing Olympic Games of 2008 dry."

Cranberries with dark chocolate mmmmmm
Amen and amen. And let all the people say amen!

Really, any berries with dark chocolate = HEAVEN. Dark chocolate and cranberries, raspberries, strawberries...what other berries...I've heard of blueberries but haven't tried blueberries.

Today's lesson:
Apparrently, zucchini should be taken out of the plastic bag and not stored in a warm, humid cupboard. They also should have been used last week...but soooomebody forgot all about them. I'm betting it was the same somebody who didn't put them away properly, and also the same somebody who just took a bag of rotten zucchini mush out to the garbage.

Um...oops?

Haven't worked on a stained glass project in a few weeks and was wondering if I should do something new or try to improve on one of my older projects, such as the coffee cups, inquisitive cat, or fleur-de-lis. I am happy with all these past projects, but still see how some improvements can be made and was kicking those ideas around in my head when my buddy from the studio lets me know that he is working on a project that I talked with him about several months ago - a skillet with no bottom. So, new project it is!!

This ceramic skillet will serve as a frame to some stained glass bacon and eggs!! If he fires the ceramics soon, I may have one ready by this weekend. If it looks halfway decent, this will be a very novel piece of whimsical art. Since he made a mold, he should be able to produce more with little effort. I need to get together with him to figure out what to charge for them....but I'm getting ahead of myself. I should make the thing first., I suppose. :p

I love the concept! I'm looking forward to seeing it completed. How would it be hung? Because I have this big bright kitchen window... and... well.... :)

...and then I almost killed off my family with extremely spicy food...

So that was pretty entertaining. Even though I threw a whole pan of food away. Scrambled eggs and chocolate milk seems to have calmed/cooled everyone down.

It's crossed my mind more than once today that maaaaybe I should just stay out of the kitchen...but then...I'd have a lot less disaster stories- er, I mean learning experiences- to share.

Oh!! Also, CatHerder! That new project looks reeeeally cool. My favorite has been the coffee cups and if I had a real kitchen or dining area I would be steal- um, buying- a piece like that.

I thought about this and am hoping that hanging won't be a problem. There will be a hole at end of handle, like many real skillets. I'll also put a hook where the glass meets the ceramic frame. This is really the only option and I will have to see if this makes it hang out of balance, in which case I'll have to brace it somehow...but I kind of like solving these kinda of problems.

So, out of everybody, the one person who should understand that I need (not want, NEED) my personal space to be respected, just disrespected it. Needless to say, I'm SO not happy with said person at this time.
Yes, I understand that he might think he needs to do what he just did, but that was so not cool. I didn't invite him in that part of my personal space, as a matter of fact, I told him NO. And he still decided he needed to do it.
I feel like slamming my head on the desk right now, I'm that frustrated.
