Hey everyone!

Here in Singles, we often see a lot of "Should I... (Do This or That)" threads--goodness knows I've posted plenty of "Should I" questions myself during my time here.

So, just for a little bit of fun, I thought maybe we could take a little time out and ask some of our OTHER most pressing "Should I..." questions.

Hence, the title.

Should I eat this piece of chocolate?

Keep in mind, we're not talking about a single Hershey's kiss or one of those dinky little miniature fun-size bars that barely even registers on your taste buds as it slides on past.

Nope. When Seoulsearch talks about "a piece of chocolate", what she means is one of those Giant XL Hershey bars that requires utilizing your entire palm (and maybe even two hands) to reach and lift off the shelf.

And so... Should I eat this piece of chocolate???

In order to play the "Should I" Game:

1. Quote someone's "Should I" question here and give your answer. Make it fun! :) While a simple "yes" or "no" might suffice... Give the person a sufficient (humorous, if possible) reason as to why they should or should not do something. And, feel free to answer several "Should I" questions if we wind up with more than one that you have answers to! Of course, since I'm the first poster, I don't have someone else's "Should I" question to answer yet but I'll be waiting. :)

2. Ask your own "Should I" question for others to answer.

3. (Optional) Make a fun guess at what others' "Should I" questions might be.

For instance, I'm guessing the following users "Should I" questions will be something like this:

* Melita: "Should I make someone go out and get me a snocone... NOW??"
* MissCris: "Should I stop sniffing these paint fumes... or go cook dinner?
* Zeroturbulence: "Should I eat this 15-pound hamburger while sitting in a traditional lawnchair?"

The Singles Forum has always been THE go-to place for CC's Most Helpful Advice. :) Go ahead, ask us your most challenging "Should I" questions!

Knowing our community, you're almost guaranteed to get an answer. :)

No seoulsearch you should not eat that piece of chocolate. You should not eat that piece of chocolate because hershey's isn't very good chocolate. For pete's sake, if you're going to gorge on chocolate you should get the good stuff.

As for my should I: Should I throw my low carb diet out the window and make homemade mac and cheese for my birthday? Speaking of birthdays should I go for cheesecake or expensive and delicious ice cream as a birthday treat?

Have to agree with cinder. You should not eat that (alleged) chocolate. Calling that brand chocolate is like calling a bicycle a car. I'm not even going to use the name of that brand because it's cussin' to me. It's the H word.

And cinder, yes you should. Homemade mac and cheese is very good.

My question: Should I tell my workplace to stuff it and not go to work today? (Somebody please say I should...) :p I know I gotta, but I don't wanna!

Depends on if you have already been absent from work this year lol but Lynx I think you should go. If you haven't had a day off then go for it, everyone needs a day to relax. Should I go for a run since every mile will be worth my while or sit on my couch eating a tub of Ben and Jerry's?

Don't listen to them, Seoul.

Yes, yes you should eat the chocolate.

Unless it's this big, in which case you might save a bit for later.

Yes, you should make mac n cheese. Chef John has a great recipe:

<span style="color:#0000cd;"><font size="3"><span style="font-family:book antiqua;">

and my vote goes toward the cheesecake. Happy Birthday!!

and seoulsearch - one should ALWAYS eat the chocolate!

Should I send my cats to obedience school?

Lynx- you shouldn't call off work on short notice if you are necessary, but if you need a day off you should schedule one in for next week

Godgivesmestrength- you should substitute strawberries and whipped cream for ben and Jerry's. It's more satisfying and you won't need to run afterwards. Win Win

Catherder- If you've got so much money that you want to throw it away by doing something as likely fruitless as sending cats to obedience school (dogs have masters; cats have staff), I should open up an obedience school for cats. And you should give me some sort of exclusive contract to train all the cats in your herd (and with a little planning we should be able to make a lot of money selling obedience trained cats to people).

Should I turn off my alarm, no one is coming tomorrow that requires me to get up early?

As a woman with Irritable File Syndrome, I say do it now. The worst is when that pile is loosed and is spilled around you when you least expect it.

Should I have that extra cuppa coffee this morning??

I ended up going for the run simply because I love to run. I'm going to have the strawberries, thank you! :)

Yes, all folders and papers need to be immediately filed into the circular file cabinet.

Both. Wait until they answer, then hang up.

Well, if it's one useful thing I've gotten out of the threads lately, it's a new cuss word! Yay! Now someone tell me what the Herrrr--shey is going on!!!

Don't listen to them, Seoul.

Yes, yes you should eat the chocolate.

My search for a husband is over. I've found true love right here!!! (And hopefully, it should last at least until next month.)

Should I take down my dating profiles?

Hey, hold the phone, Seoul...I didn't say I'd BUY you the chocolate, just that you could eat it.

Oh. okay, don't cry.

I think I can afford this one for ya.

I'm not expecting a man to buy me a huge diamond. Just a lifetime supply of chocolate.

Should I accept Nuke's proposal? (Bonus: he's actually less than 80 years old! Hooray!! Of course, with him actually being younger than me, I run the risk of being called a cougar.)

I forgot about being younger. I think you need to buy me chocolate.

Should I let Seoul be my sugar momma?
