...well, i happen to adore that song. i always have. a lot of music from that era is precious to me because it can transport me to the little kid, riding with my dad to someplace fun, like the santa cruz boardwalk, or candlestick park, or that long road to tahoe where we'd stop at sam's along the way...
Me too! This Sam's Town place she mentioned no longer exists. It is now tract homes and such. It was a popular travel stop in the foothills on the way to South Lake Tahoe.

Also, the Babelfish was given such a name because as a translator of languages, it brings to mind the incident at the tower of Babel in Genesis 11, where God confused humanity's one language into many languages.
The tower of Babel I have in my wheel house but I am humbled by the babel fish reference, thank you for the update, and kindness in my quest for better understanding of all things. No such thing as dumb questions right?!! Just dumb answers, so I will reject the fish that babels reference for future use thanks. Smile.

Hello My Honey, Hello my baby, hello my rag-time gal. Send me a kiss by wire, baby my heart's on fire. If you refuse me, honey you'll lose me. Then you'll be left alone. Oh Baby, telephone and tell me I'm your own.
