But you don't take it literally. You take it according to your preconceived notions. Your last clause is a good example of it. When Peter said it was of no private interpretation he was talking about the people who wrote it. He was saying that it was not their private thoughts and interpretation, but the thoughts of the Holy Spirit.
Nay I take it literally. Scripture is of no private interpretation, but you do not even believe that as you say in your comment here.

Listen young man. when I was your age I too was involved in these prophetic schemes. And I claimed to believe the Bible literally. But as I grew older and wiser I saw them for what they were, manipulation of Scripture.

LOL LOL every one of us interprets the Bible by our 'private interpretation'. that is what personal Bible Study is. And those who make a great show of being 'guided by the Spirit' are the ones who most rely on their private interpretation. They are just more deceived than others.

Nay, for scripture is not of private interpretation. I do not have a private interpretation of scripture, but I believe what is written therein. All those that claim to have a private interpretation such as yourself doth prove they do not believe in the Bible.

Ye be cursed for ye say of your own hand that ye be a false prophet.

All that you say of me herein I have not said, but you said it. I forgive you though. Go back and read the Bible therefore and believe and Jesus will love you. Even Paul was a false prophet at one time persecuting the Christians, you can be forgiven if you believe in the Word of God.

Dang man you are just becoming rude. Everything you are slinging around could be caught and reapplied right back to you. So you’re old, so what? You're done learning and can only teach now? What age does that happen? You may be 81 but I've seen 20 year olds on this sight act more civil with their words in disagreement. I have to admit it’s a good thing you're here to teach, because one would have to have you to guide them into understanding things the same way you do as no simple reading of the text, without a guru (like you I guess), could ever lead a layman to see it the way you describe. Is that how God works? By sending us His word and making sure we always have someone to tell us what it means? Sounds awfully Catholic to me. I understand what you mean and agree with you on the comment where you said Jesus is important and not these Genesis arguments, and they aren’t the focus, but then when you get to generalizing and attacking a whole country of people (Americans) you expose yourself to not be as “grown up” as you think. 81 isn’t too old to still learn, and you might want to think about a class on manners, and read about Timothy as well, didn’t he start young?

Don't worry man, I am not offended, he mocks only himself. Therefore I and you must forgive him and advise him to read the Bible and to believe it. Nevertheless there is not much more that can be said to this one lest he continue to curse himself.

I wanted to add that I meant this comment " So you’re old, so what?" inthe context of what we know, I do think you should be respected as an elder, but you are really showing no respect yourself. I just didn't want that to comeoff like I meant it means absolutely nothing at all to me that you’re older.

Just consider what he said of me :)

It was both arrogant and Satanic. He thinks he is God. He needs bringing down to size. I do it for his good.

Incidentally what I said about American Christians I learned from American preachers who came over here :) Should I not believe them?

Don't worry, you won't offend me. I care only what Jesus Christ thinks of me

But one thing age teaches you is that Christians advance both in spirituality and in understanding. GodisSalvation arrogantly believes that he has all the truth. I will guarantee that in ten years time he will have changed many of his opinions, and will hopefully have learned some humility. He may even read the words of James, 'with the same mouth you bless God and curse men. My brothers these things ought not to be. '

You said it of yourself that ye be a false prophet.

Also nay, I am not God nor have I said, but again, that is what you say. I say God is the Father of Jesus just as the Bible literally says. I forgive you of saying ought against me, but you ought not continue in your way to say ought against God.

are you sure you are ok? you sound a little unstable to me which is sad. As far as I am aware all the cursings come from you. As to believing the Bible I have believed it for 65 years, over which period I have developed and grown from my youthful fantasies to a deeper understanding of the word of God.

I do not seek your 'forgiveness'. there is nothing to forgive. what I am afraid for is your sanity.

I did read that and went right on by, it just didn't really"register" I guess, until you just posted it again. I would have toagree that wasn't very nice at all, and wouldn’t like it either. Also seems youtwo may have had more interactions than just in this thread as well, so I guesssome of the "heat" could have been generated before that I missed. Iguess I just haven't seen the whole story behind this, and that may have messedwith my perception of the whole thing. The only reason I felt compelled to evencomment was because I usually agree with you, and you usually are much more “professional”,for lack of a better word, with your comments and less aggressive overall. Justlike how you responded to me right here. Those comments really seemed out ofcharacter for you, as far as what I’ve seen in the past, not that I’ve seenevery comment, but in general. Thank you for responding to my accusations in acool way, and I apologize for stepping in the middle of something that didn’t havefull story on, and especially for not asking you in private first. I thoughtabout that right after the 5 minutes was up, that I should have probably sentthis message to you in private rather than posting it here, that was also whenI thought the comment I explained in the second post wasn’t worded the best wayand sounded disrespectful. I have learned a little from this whole exchange aswell so thank you, and praise His name for it.

I also wanted to say that you explained what you feel itmeans in a very easy to understand way and it really does make logical sense whenlaid out like that, and I defiantly see how you’ve come to believe what you do,regardless if we agree with you or not, it does fit.

Nay I have cursed you not, but I have said; read the Bible and believe it that you might be blessed.

You do not believe, you prove it by your own words, and then you accuse me of that which I have not said, but that which you have said. You curse yourself saying you be a false prophet, that you manipulate scripture, that you have it of your own private interpretation, that others ought have a private interpretation of the Bible, and that people ought not believe the Bible.

You curse me saying I am Satanic, that I am insane, and accuse me of saying that which I have not said, and you be the one spewing forth lies against me. Nevertheless, I do forgive you.

Howbeit though I cannot forgive you of your blasphemy by saying I am God, but I can only say that I am not God, but that God is the Father of Jesus as the Bible literally says.

it also says a day to the Lord would be like a thousand to man.
Big bang theorists divide the first second after the "creation bang" (not their term) into Planck time, billionths of a second, wherein so much happens in a billionth of a second that might otherwise take thousands, hundreds of thousands, or even millions of years to accomplish. Of course it is all hypothetical but also very interesting, for they acknowledge that there was originally a unifying force.

I think you need to look back over all that you have said, and then take a good look at yourself. You seem to speak without thinking. May God help you to sort yourself out.

I regret nothing which I have said for all that I said be truth. Indeed I do forgive you of all you say ought against me, and forgive you again for what you say here. I pray that you will ask God in privacy to forgive you for blaspheming him and I believe he will forgive you. I hope that you will read the Bible and believe in the words written therein and be blessed so that the curses you have put on yourself be removed from you.

The Big Bang Theory has been dead in the water for years. Too many people just don't want to admit it. Probably because evolutionary scientists are the worst when it comes to telling the truth about something and redacting bad science and ancient theories.
