So, I have a great day planned. I am doing some cleaning and something about it gets me all so excited especially now that I can run around since my foot has been healing up. Its going to be a great day because it is already a great morning:)

Yeah, in my bedroom I have to keep it organized otherwise I can't find anything. I am the type of person who makes lists of things that need to be done. I have a bookshelf dedicated to cookbooks and my desk has my textbooks from last year that I know I will need this upcoming year. I even have a file cabinet where I keep everything from my bills and bank statements and copies of my resume and what not. I still have homework from a year ago that for some reason or another, I kept.
The easiest place for me where it gets unorganized easily is my closet, but so far I am going on a little over a month and it still looks great. My problem is, I have too much stuff so it feels cluttered and it drives me nuts. Most of that is because I got a lot of things from my grandparents house when we were cleaning it out. I have a walk in closet which is wonderful, but it is extremely narrow and I have storage containers that contain items for my hope chest, 2 boxes of stuffed animals, dolls, a box of books, and other items. Now, it is very organized and labeled but I only have room to get to my clothes.
I just know today I am planning to do the entire house and some laundry to boot so it is and will be a great day:)

Hi Friends.

My wife had her operation yesterday and they removed only the cist (good news). They were busy with her for 1,5 hours and she is in serious pain (bad news). I feel so helpless but I still trust God for her speedy recovery. Thank you for all your prayers.
Praying for your precious wife to feel better soon...

I've kept all of my psychology books, notes, homework assignments, papers, tests, etc. Pretty much everything that had to do with my major. Never know if you'll ever need it if you go off to grad school. Plus I also like going back and looking at everything. I'm weird like that.

Yay!!! I am not alone in the weirdness category. Lol
But seriously it is nice to look back where you came from and where you are at now. My parents even kept homework that I had back in elementary school. Lets just say my handwriting has improved greatly since then. I even got an interview just based on my handwriting and I always get compliments on it. I don't see it:confused:

No, you're not. I have a library and a computer full of old stuff. (But, maybe that only means you are as weird as me.)

Sometimes others can see things we don't or can't.

Handwriting is such a lost and dying art. There's nothing better than sending or receiving a real hand-written letter in the mail, meaning the good old-fashioned postal service, and something that's at least 2 pages and not just 2 sentences long.

Every year, my Christmas cards are a pretty big production for me. Last year I sent out something like 60 cards (I try to start in October) and each card gets a 4-page typed "newsletter" of what's happened in the last year. However, it's important to me to always hand-write the envelopes and cards, in which I ask about their families, personal situations, and sign off with a tailored-to-their-own-life best wish or prayer for their life.

Of course, the only way I'm able to do this is that I'm single with no pets! :) (And this was my long way of saying, "You Go, Cmarieh!" because handwriting (along with neatly organized archives) are amazing things that often seem lost in today's world.

I remember being told writing cursive is one of the most important things I will need to learn for the rest of my life in 4th grade... To this day, I only use it for a signature. One of the biggest lies they tell you in school. Lies I say! :p
