To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Solomon (Eccl 3:1-8)

Rom. 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good,for those who are called according to his purpose.

Overtime!, God has been keeping me very busy lately.
Guess He has a lot of work to do, and since Im not always willing?
I like to be sure about everything I do, so God teaching me that the only sure thing is faith.
(Also, hope and love.) :)

So like I said, lots of overtime. :)

God bless

"Balance": God is teaching me that, regardless of my circumstances good or bad, I must learn to put Gods wisdom before my own. The funny thing to me is lately I have gone from many hardships to better times. But God has shown me it is easier to stay prudent in the Lord during hard times than good ones. So I am to balance it all under one roof- "Fear God and obey His commandments". The one who fears God will avoid - all extremes. Thanks Solomon you da man!

When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. And He placed His right hand on me, saying,

“Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last, and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades. (Rev 1:17-18)

As the parents to seven children ages 18 down to 5, my husband and I, with our children, run the gamut of all of those 'times' in any given day/week/month!

It's an honor to put all of those things into a Gospel, Christ-centered context for our children as they/we learn about the seasons of life and how to navigate and walk through them.

Grace, Grace, and more Grace to all of us parents out there!

Matthew 24:36) But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

I believe this scripture fits perfectly with what I was told by an old preacher many years ago----
"Learn to deal with the world the way it is, not the way you want it to be."
His point was simple----
We live in a wicked world that will not get better until Jesus returns and rules from David's throne.
Every day is different and requires tough choices.

It is a season for everything. But yet in Mathew 21 Jesus curses a fig tree for nor bearing fruit outside the season....

I have lost much, cried much, suffered a broken heart and mourned much. For years. Right now is healing, laughing, and peace. Nothing is where it used to be before tragedy but this has so far been a year of rest.

The only thing is do we see the cup half empty or half full? Dealing with the worlds doom for me is to deal with the one person in front of me God sent To love and show him or her the Christ of hope and prosperity and a future of glory. It's a one at a time victory. Yes, wide is the gate to destruction, that we do know but it doesn't have to be you or me or my neighbor or your neighbor right?!! Here's to hope!!! The more I believe this the more my yoke becomes easy and my burden light. There is one out there that will fall from grace if we don't go that one extra invitation given in God's graceful love offered by His saints.

One that stuck with me.....

This world is an anesthetic for the lost and dying man. We are not called to get rid of the anesthetic, we are called to bring the light to the lost and dying man.

I have a short time, because when all of that is done and these things are wiped out. We will have an eternal time of joy and peace which no one can comprehend.

For God then, will give us our real name. The name HE gave us! and we will no longer wonder who we are, why were were created, and what our job is in the eternal kingdom of God.

Time to get to work for the fields are white unto harvest but the laborers are few.

Work for the night is coming when our labors are over.

For the cause of Christ
