PROVERBS 1:5.
A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.
ROMANS 15:4.
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we
through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have HOPE.

what use is learning if there is no "truth" ?

if there is no "truth" then everything is confusion, and nothing has meaning.
if there is "truth" it must be external to man - because we observe that men disagree.
if it is external to man, it cannot be reached by human reason alone.
if we must learn, we presuppose truth, and we presuppose truth is external to us.

aye, if there is not truth, and we each define our own principle,
realchild may as well be saying "giraffe linear chartreuse pre-soaking" for all the meaning there might be in anything.
no truth, then nothing but confusion - and the only purpose is more confusion.
if our minds are nothing but the product of random mutation and thoughts nothing but random synaptic discharges, any human "reason" and "logic" is pure, random illusion.
lost, man. completely. diseased, deceived and self-inflicted confusion.
first thing humanism says: "i got nothing"
all the rest it says: "my nothing is something"
what kind of .. ?? i don't even. but they think they do. an epiphany of delusion, self-worshiping blindness.
been there, done that. burned & buried the t-shirt.
