The problem with you mwc68 is you do not just disagree, you also attack the person for the Truth and call them a broken record.
Will believing in false Doctrines keep one out of Heaven? Yes! If that Doctrine is used by people to justify their Worship of Mary as their God!
Its not a matter of just Disagreeing on a few points of a Doctrine, its a matter of false Doctrines that were made up by the Catholic Church that deceive the Catholics into believing there is nothing wrong with Idolatry.
Praying to Mary is Idolatry which will keep a Believer from entering into Heaven.
Galatians 5:19-21
[SUP]19 [/SUP] Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
[SUP]20 [/SUP] idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
[SUP]21 [/SUP] envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Those who practice Idolatry by Praying to Mary will not Inherit the Kingdom of God.
Who taught you that lie?
If you are one of those Name it and Claim it, Word of Faith followers, you had better read these verses.
Colossians 3:5-6 (HCSB)
[SUP]
5 [/SUP] Therefore, put to death what belongs to your worldly nature: sexual immorality, impurity,
lust, evil desire, and
greed, which is idolatry.
[SUP]
6 [/SUP] Because of these, God’s wrath comes on the disobedient,
Intercessory PRAYER, does NOT violate the fact that CHRIST is the one Mediator between GOD and man. You OBVIOUSLY DID NOT READ THE CONTEXT:
1 Timothy 2:1-6 (HCSB)
[SUP]
1 [/SUP] First of all, then,
I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings
be made for everyone,
[SUP]
2 [/SUP] for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.
[SUP]
3 [/SUP] This is good, and it pleases God our Savior,
[SUP]
4 [/SUP] who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
[SUP]
5 [/SUP] For there is one God and one mediator between God and humanity, Christ Jesus, Himself human,
[SUP]
6 [/SUP] who gave Himself—a ransom for all, a testimony at the proper time.
YOU ARE CONFUSING THE DEFINITIONS OF INTERCESSIONS AND MEDIATOR AS BEING ONE AND THE SAME. They are NOT, and you validated to me that you have never been in a Labor Union, during contract negotiations, or you would KNOW what a Mediator does.
Intercessions in the GREEK is
enteuxis which your will find is intercessions related prayer, something we are all COMMANDED TO DO.
Mediator in the Greek is
mesitēs which is from
<G3319> (mesos); a
go-between
Strong's Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary.
YOU ARE READING INTO THOSE VERSES SOMETHING THAT JUST IS NOT THERE,
AND THEN PRONOUNCING A SENTENCE UPON THEM TO BANISHMENT FROM HEAVEN, WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN. YOU DO NOT GET TO DECIDE WHO GOES TO HEAVEN AND WHO DOES NOT.
The Catholics believe in praying for one another, and I just showed you that Paul commanded it. They also have no problem with asking a Believer who is already in heaven to continue to pray for them, BECAUSE NO WHERE IN THE BIBLE DOES IT CONDEMN IT NOR FORBID IT. THEY ARE NOT MAKING THAT HOME WITH THE LORD BELIEVER THE MEDIATOR, THEY ARE ASKING THAT ALIVE IN CHRIST AND WITH CHRIST IN HEAVEN BELIEVER, TO SIMPLE PRAY TO JESUS THE MEDIATOR FOR THEM.
Mark 3:28-29 (NASB)
[SUP]28 [/SUP] "Truly I say to you, all sins shall be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they utter;
[SUP]29 [/SUP] but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin"—
