Nope.

I'm saying, posting publicly is generally a way of finding a group of like-minded people, and since it looks like you've already found a group to talk to who are going to support your view and might be be able to give you the positive affirmations you are seeking if you want to continue the discussion.

If they're not willing to talk here, they may be leaving you PM as the only way of conversing with them, and that's perfectly fine. I'm not choosing or ruling over the medium they choose to talk to you through, but rather, they can obviously choose how they want to talk to you.

I've posted a lot of threads myself over the years (well over 400), so I have a bit of experience when it comes to starting discussions. I know that when you start discussions here, sometimes you take a lot of heat. You're not some lone martyr. Several of my threads haven't been so popular either, and some people are never shy in voicing their opinion, which is fine.

Not everyone will agree all the time, of course. But sometimes when I found a core group of people who had been through similar things or had similar views, we chose to talk privately instead of on the forums and it's worked out well.

It's just a suggestion from my own experience, not an absolute.
My point is and was that you guys wont allow other views without getting upset and unreasonable about this issue.

And my point is that you always accuse everyone else of being the unreasonable ones while never once acknowledging the fact that you yourself have been unreasonable many times, and this has been your consistent pattern throughout your time on CC.

You accuse everyone else of trying to bully you into a corner but you yourself see every view one might have that is different than your own as wrong.

You even scold the men here who don't automatically agree with you, as can be witnessed in this thread and throughout your posting history.

But yet... "It's everyone else that's the bully."

But I think this illustrates the whole problem we've been running into lately.

If a man (or anyone else, for that matter):

1. thinks women are impossible and can't discuss things without flying off the handle
2. hates feminists and can tell you every reason why
3. doesn't have a clue about women but isn't willing to hear what they have to say
4. wants a 70-pound wife who never eats sweets and whom he can carry the whole time while performing a triathlon,

then he certainly has the right to that opinion.

And if he wants to publicly state that this is the way he feels in a thread, he has the right to do so.
OoooooooOOOOOooooh, really!

:D :D :D :D

Then I have a right to publicly state in the forum that I want a wife who knows how to cook, but will let me cook too because I like to cook. I want a wife who has been to at least three other star systems and is knowledgeable about the culture of the indigenous sapients on the planets in those systems. And she has to be the queen of the lizard people. And she has to be able to control animals telepathically - like Aquaman, but with land critters instead of fish.

And she has to be willing to mow the yard, because frankly I'm sick of this junk. I'm about ready to pave the whole thing and paint it green. But I'm willing to do the dishes and I do my own laundry.

What? You said I have the right to make this statement.

And because you think I'm unreasonable, you call me a bully?

To be honest, I don't take to heart anything you say, and you're entitled to your point of view, as I am to mine.

It's one of those, we'll always disagree about certain issues... and that's ok.

You guys do bully folks on this issue...im not the only one who thinks that.. and its not just guys
So because you have a mob of men and women behind you...

Are you going all going to take up pitchforks and torches and come after me?

My schedule is open. On second thought, I have to work at 4 AM. So anytime between now and then would be fine.

Presenting a contrary point of view in a kind manner is NOT bullying. Even presenting a contrary view in a kind and VERY PERSUASIVE way is not bullying.

However, implying that the "numbers are on your side" is a rhetorical kind of device designed to manipulate people into capitulating to your particular view of the world.

Shaming others (via namecalling) who have a differing view is also engaging in with behaviors that could be construed as "bullying."

I personally prefer a man who is older and more mature. A man who shows me respect, and cares for me. I want to feel cherished and needed. He has to be a strong man also and not afraid to take me sexually. My boyfriend is 55, and I feel more loved by him than any guy my age I dated.
