My neighbor is a pastor of the largest church in our area...he is a huge bike guy, and invited me to come to their biker service sunday and then a ride...I have always had doubts about this event but im starting to look at in a little different... image_adapt_960_high_bikers_church_12a.jpg

By the way posted this in here...because the single people are still trying to be cool as they discuss issues of faith :)

Now you guys are making me cry! I had to sell mine because of medical issues (no not arising out of a crash!). I miss it so much. You guys be careful out there and Mitspa by all means go ahead! Just remember the bikers golden rule: Dress for the crash, not for the ride. (Not that you're going to crash but even in cars they happen).

Moses rode a British motorcycle, as evidenced by a Bible passage

declaring that "the roar of Moses' Triumph is heard in the hills

Yeah, but the Cherubim on the Arc of the Covenant had "gold wings."

Whataya mean trying? We just are cool. Can't help it.

I've never ridden a bike, don't plan to. No real reason I don't want to... just no real reason I want to. My uncle has a Yamaha something-or-other though, he loves it. V Star? That sound familiar?

This thread reminds me of a TV commercial I saw one time, for some church that called itself "The church of the holy motorcycle." That wasn't the church's name, just its nickname. In the commercial the pastor rode up on his bike, said a piece for the church and rode away.

Yea topics are a little less sensitive in here...unless of course, you talk about the whole male-female issue.

Yes. Not sure about that either....coz it said 'one hand on the wheel' and that would be really tricky and really dangerous, and it would have burnt a hole in his glove quick smart too!

Ive only ever ridden one bike on the road. It was a Harley Davidson, and I was 'allowed' to have a ride on it...around the block.
Well you know, I was so petrified, coz I couldnt remember the 'how to stop' and 'how to brake' instructions that I rode it sooo slowly... and when I went around each of the corners it almost stalled...coz I couldnt remember how to change gear...lol...then when I got back to the starting place it ended up with a dent in its new tank coz I still hadnt remembered the 'how to brake and stop nicely' part. :)

i dont like motorbikes. Smelly. Messy. Noisy. And I seem to be incapable of riding one!
But I reckon the God gang in your pic is amazing. We could do with a few of those in NZ!

God bless all you God-blokes-on-bikes :)
