This is correct..with my former Muslim friend, he saw a dream and told his English teacher in an English speaking country about it..she realized that the person in the dream was Jesus and sent him to a pastor for help. The pastor had been a missionary in Indonesia for over a decade so he knew a lot about Islam. They talked over the course of five days and he came to faith in Jesus Christ.

The face in the dream was blurry so he didn't see it. He thought it was Satan rather than Jesus Christ initially. Anyways his testimony is fantastic. I am not charismatic at all but I believe it. The fruits of his life prove it. He's endured much suffering...he was imprisoned 3 months once for witnessing to a Muslim...lost 8 teeth in the process.

Of course I well know these difference! But according to everything I have read about witnessing to Muslims, we need to start with Isa! Because they believe Isa was sinless and is coming again as the Messiah, we can start there, and move to what the Bible actually says, and even how the Qur'an is wrong about things like the Trinity, which it is written in the Qur'an that Christians believe it is God, Mary and Jesus. So one glaring error leads to many more, and showing how Isa is truly God, and died on the cross.

One of the big objections Muslims have is that God would never have made himself a man. Yet, if we carefully show them what the Bible says about Isa (Jesus) they will likely say the Bible is corrupted.

So there are two ways to witness. One is to show them the truth in the Bible which they believe is corrupted. The other is to show them the truth of Jesus in the Qur'an and the errors in the Qur'an.

Both ways work! Because in the end, it is the Spirit of God that convicts, and changes hearts and souls.

I took World Religions from a missionary to Indonesia, who ministered to Muslims and head hunters. He said the head hunters were easy to reach with the gospel. But the Muslims needed friendship, and a witness. Then they would come to him, and ask him about dreams they had about Jesus. That would open the door to actually explain the gospel. Because many got saved. And that professor, by the grace of God on leave from missions the year he was teaching and I took his course, is back in Indonesia making friends and preaching the gospel.

I have read in many places, and in books that many Muslims have dreams about Jesus, and if someone is around to explain them they get saved. Except one case I heard of, where just the dreams saved a man. He waited for years for a missionary to come, and to give him a Bible.

Our real job is to make friends, and pray for these Muslims. As the videos clearly show, God is sovereign and he can save anyone he wants.

My prayer is that Bahous will see the love we have for him and individual raised under a false religion, and he can connect the dots and realize God is calling him to faith in Jesus Christ.

babous is a troll. When they just flat call Paul an anit-christ, that says to me they are not really interested in knowing about Chrisitanity and it's been obvious to most since babous started posting. So what would a person call Jesus to an American that had never heard about about Him? Mr. Lightening? Oh wait wait, Mr. tree.

Are trolls our enemies?
You decide: In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[2] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[3]

Reminds me of many atheists I have met online, and also some Christians. Gosh, even I have said things with the intention to provoke. Much better to say something that is going to provoke some thought than to be so dull as to say things people couldn't care less about, or are indifferent to.

The true opposite of love is not hate but indifference. Hate, bad as it is, at least treats the neighbour as a thou, whereas indifference turns the neighbour into an it, a thing. This is why we may say that there is actually one thing worse than evil itself and that is indifference to evil. In human relations the nadir of morality, the lowest point as far as Christian ethics is concerned, is manifest in the phrase, 'I couldn't care less.'

A troll is not trying to provoke any kind of creative thought.

I suppose you are right, though the atheists I have spoken with always thought they were doing us a favour to try to make us, us being Christians, think differently about God and Jesus Christ and Scriptures etc, as if we had not already been there and done all that before our respective conversions. I wandered the wilderness the majority of my adult life, and explored a lot of things they might never give a second thought to, so I feel I understand "being lost" quite well. I guess the original point I was trying to make was in regards to how we treat them regardless of what we perceive their intention to be. If it seems a waste of time, then maybe it is best to just walk away. I did that eventually. The last group I spoke to, over a period of three years, was so hardened and sophisticated there seemed no getting through to them. They always had a "Yeah, but" rejoinder, no matter what you said, no matter the point you made.

Hello; may God bless you

like you all know we are different. but God is one.

why we are different? the answer Is Satan. Muslims are disciples of Satan or Christians.

if you promit me you will not lock my topics and you will not bann me I 'll give my point of view sincerly.

are you enough strong in your faith to permit me.

Sadly, this forum is trigger-happy when it comes to banning followers of islam (too bad!).

No satisfying discourse can be had when people fail to listen to what the 'other' side has to say.

I have been banned from more muslim sites over the past two decades than I can remember...all due to polarization of the adherents and failure to listen and learn.

Remember that you can learn the most from people that differ in opinion from that of yourself.

This forum needs a new 'Interfaith' directory in which people of other faiths are encouraged to enter dialogue without fear of being shut-down from the start.

Lighten up, people...

My friend says they pray for the deaths of American soldiers and Jews in the mosque. Another Muslim tells me they pray for jihadis. So I am not convinced that Muslims as a whole are peaceful.

You are too young to remember but after 9/11 there were signs of Muslim approval of the attack on the World Trade Center. Not all Muslims wanted it, but a significant number approved of it.

I think this attitude is self destructive, though, because it is the very reason that some Muslims are seeking Christianity. They know that the religion is corrupted by such behavior. I just hope we can help such Muslims to learn the truth and accept them once they come to faith.
No, I can't remember how the Muslims reacted after 9/11 and thought only Al Qaeda supporters approved of it. In fact, I got saved around the beginning of the 'Arab Spring' so to me, in the beginning of it, I thought this was all very normal but it has gotten the Caliphate agenda a few steps further if you know what I mean.

I know, there are many Muslims leaving Islam and embracing Christianity, which is good. I wish I knew some Muslims so I could talk to them about it.

Whether the OP is a troll is irrelevant. He may have come here to do harm, and persuade people to convert to Islam, but God is in control!

He brought Bahous here, and many rejected him. It is a bit different for a Muslim to utter blasphemy against Christianity, than for a supposed Christian to say things about Paul for example.

We had the perfect opportunity to witness and tell him about God's love and saving grace, and instead, he was abused and reported. Maybe if he had found God's love here, he would have wanted to know more, instead of being rejected and condemned.

It is sad that so few people in this forum are more influenced by the American media about the dangers of Islam, than they are about the Bible, and what Christ said that was his last command.

"And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matt 28:18-20

We had the opportunity to make a disciple from Morocco, which last time I checked is included in "all the nations." Even Imans have converted to Christianity, and those who have memorized the Qur'an. Jesus is calling sinners to repent, but how shall they hear if they do not have a preacher!!

"
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?" Romans 10:14

I am embarrassed to be a part of this forum right now, with most of the people directly disobeying God's command to take the gospel into all the world, and not even having to leave their computer or device!

I agree...I don't view Muslims as being a threat to a sound Christian. If they are that poorly established in their relationship with God they are in pretty bad shape.

I've chatted with two of them from here and both are on my facebook. One is the guy I mentioned whose father is a mufti..the other is from Morocco. His father was an imam.

I've also talked to two other unsaved ones on Skype. One was antagonistic but he was good in terms teaching me to think a bit quicker. We probably talked over 20 hours. The other wasn't as antagonistic.

I spend a lot of time in the chat room and I talk to people in private messages so I run across them occasionally that way. I look for people from Muslim countries in their profiles.

If you want to chat with the one that I will be traveling with, I am sure he'd talk to you in the chat room but probably not next week. He's very friendly. He's 26. The guy in Morocco is about 20 but he is a student and very busy. We get to talk occasionally.

Jesus died for him. Most here attacked him. At the very least you dont need to answer him. But people here just love to preach what scripture never told you to do.

What would Jesus have said to him?
Think Jesus would have said anything like anything that was said to him?
Which one of the posts from the Christians would you all say most represents Christ?
Can all of us look at our posts and say Jesus I poeted wht you told me to post. We than go on to say I am not quite there yet?
That wont work on Christ. So hatefull.
When will we get we are to die to selve.
Matt 6:15
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

His post was perfect and none offencive. Not many here can justify what they said to Christs face.

I am embarrassed to be a part of this forum right now, with most of the people directly disobeying God's command to take the gospel into all the world, and not even having to leave their computer or device!

One of my very close friends is a Muslim. He and I genuinely love and respect one another and are free to discuss anything, including religion. Neither of us tried to "convert" the other to our faith. Although he is a devout Muslim, he agreed to study the Bible and has asked me on occasion to pray to the Lord Jesus for him. I know the Lord is wooing my friend to Him.

On the other hand, if he had gotten argumentative and continued to provoke me in a conversation to make opportunity to call Christ a liar and to criticize the Bible, I would not be friends with him today. If I had continued to goad him into a debate and mocked his faith as a Muslim, he would not be my friend today. It's called common respect.

Bahous continued on various threads to contend with Christians and mock the Word of God. Read Acts 13 where Paul and Barnabus were talking with proconsul, Sergius Paulus who requested to hear the Word of God. But false prophet, Bar-Jesus (his real name means "Elymas the sorcerer") kept opposing them and tried to turn the proconsul away from the faith.

"Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked straight at Elymas and said, “You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord? Now the hand of the Lord is against you. You are going to be blind for a time, not even able to see the light of the sun.”

And immediately mist and darkness came over him, and he groped about, seeking someone to lead him by the hand. And when the proconsul saw what had happened, he believed, for he was amazed at the teaching about the Lord.

When Jesus Himself spoke the truth and people didn't want to hear it, He allowed them to walk away. But nowhere in the Bible during Jesus' ministry did He chase after those who opposed Him, feeling sorry for them and trying to convince them He was the Messiah.

Why you are embarrassed about standing up for the truth really confounds me. People have gone to their deaths standing up for Jesus. We aren't to cater to those assaulting the Word of God. That's why this site bans those who do it. Why would we not report such a disturbance?

Is it more important to chase after those who want to disprove the Word of God than to maintain a peaceful atmosphere on this site for those sincerely seeking after the truth?

Let me make it clear that I am not against banning, esp. when westerners come in here and start preaching a different gospel.

I am also in favour of banning atheists, most of whom just come here to try and break our faith, not that it is possible for a true believer. After seeing that thread about CC in an atheist forum and them talking about how many times they have been banned here, a five page thread, unless they tread very carefully, they need to be gone.

But when young man comes in here, with very broken English, asking that he not be banned, with the flag of Morocco, then we do need to be on mission with Christ. I am glad that Sparkman friended him. I thought about it, but because of the cultural rules in Muslim countries, I did not think he would be open to be friends with a Christian woman. So I just prayed about him, that he would understand those who were kind and their presentation of the gospel.

Maybe we need an evangelism forum, to train people to really spread their faith, instead of barricading themselves inside of Churchianity, or American culture, which seems to include an irrational hate of Muslims. I have suggested an Evangelism Forum before, but apparently it was not well received.

Well, it is over now! I just hope that next time, instead of knee jerk reactions, we can really show the love of Christ and preach the gospel to people who are asking questions, and wondering about the Bible, instead of throwing them out of CC. And I know there have been some Muslims who have come in here, with the only goal of making converts, not listening, and preaching in a BIG way, Islam. I am not talking about that kind of person. I will let God deal with their eternal destiny, because in the end, it is the Holy Spirit who draws people to Christ.
