Hmm... I would disagree with that. Nothing beats Tennessee.
Too far north for Florida summers.
Too far south for y'all's winters.
Too far from the east and west coasts to get their smog.
Too close to rivers to have drought. In all my years I've never heard of any kind of water shortage here.
Too close to civilization to not have phone signal almost everywhere.
Life is good here.

Here on the Oregon Coast I have:
No miserable hot humid Florida summer
No frigid cold and brutal northern winter
No east coast or west coast cmog
Rarely a drought... we don't have water shortage but inland a bit they are having fires.
We have phone signals nearly everywhere...
Plus an ocean.
PLUS? Cheesecake.
It's amazing.
This is all true, but you also have that giant earthquake that is decades overdue. just sayin'
