Yes, certain people read the Bible with their own pre-conceived ideas and then try and force scripture to "conform" to "their" theology instead of allowing scripture to speak for itself.

On the first page of this thread, Blain said that he/she loved animals. So do I, so I am thrilled that the new earth will have friendly animals led by children. It sounds wonderful.
Speaking for myself....I click on the like button for a post because I either agree with the posters comment, feel the poster is on the mark with their comment, or found their post hilarious (if they made a joke) basically it depends on the post but almost always it is liked because of content within that post. Threads can get derailed so it doesn't always link back to the OP. Especially in longer threads.
