Can these scriptures be explained?
John 15Amplified Bible (AMP)
15 I am the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser. [SUP]
2 [/SUP]Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses
and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more
and richer
and more excellent fruit. [SUP]
3 [/SUP]You are cleansed
and pruned already, because of the word which I have given you [the teachings I have discussed with you]. [SUP]
4 [/SUP]Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. [SUP]
5 [/SUP]I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. [SUP]
6 [/SUP]If a person does not dwell in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken-off] branch, and withers; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and they are burned.
[SUP]
7 [/SUP]If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you
and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.
Matthew 24 Amplified
[SUP]
12 [/SUP]And the love of [SUP]
[f][/SUP]the great body of people will grow cold because of the multiplied lawlessness
and iniquity, [SUP]
13 [/SUP]But he who endures to the end will be saved.
Matt 10:22 Amplified
[SUP]
22 [/SUP]And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake, but he who perseveres
and endures to the end will be saved [[SUP]
[g][/SUP]from spiritual disease and death in the world to come].
Galatians 6:8-9 Amplified
[SUP]
8 [/SUP]For he who sows to his own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay
and ruin
and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
[SUP]
9 [/SUP]And let us not lose heart
and grow weary
and faint in acting nobly
and doing right, for in due time
and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen
and relax our courage
and faint.
2 tim 2:12 Amp
[SUP]
12 [/SUP]If we endure, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny
and disown
and reject Him, He will also deny
and disown
and reject us.
2 Peter 2:20-21 (AMP)
[SUP]
20 [/SUP]For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through [the full, personal] knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they again become entangled in them and are overcome, their last condition is worse [for them] than the first.
[SUP]
21 [/SUP]For never to have obtained a [full, personal] knowledge of the way of righteousness would have been better for them than, having obtained [such knowledge], to turn back from the holy commandment which was [verbally] delivered to them
