actually it is the other way around...the freemasons copied it from non masons...
 
Man or should I say beast has been biding his time and has been slowly indoctrinating satanic rituals and beliefs upon us for years. He has been very patient , waiting for his time and through the course of history has managed to changed traditions in the Catholic Church because he knows full well that maybe 80% or more only go to church all dressed up for show just once a week and they never pick up a Bible or talk to God until the next service. That's how satan knows he has one up on us . Many of you do not know this and may think it's crazy but if you do your homework, satan has us to the point we are so ritualized and do anything without question that millions have unmistakenly set themselves up for some big ritual that satan has planned and there is nothing many of you can do to stop it. It's called the Ice Bucket Challenge. Nobody knows where it came from or who stared it, but it became the "IN" thing to do. People did it without question, obody asked or hesitated, like a trained sheep they did what others did. In layman's terms, satan had every participant re-baptized for his up and coming transformation of his children. Like fire and ice, where ice cleaned the entire body, his yet to be determined move will claim those who just cleansed their body free and clean. I fear for what could happen. I have seen pictures of Jesus baptizing others and the pictures are identical to those of the ice bucket challenge. I have spoken to my pastor about many things and they are taught to sidestep every issue. Ask yourself one question........When was the last time your priest told you to go out and speak the Bible tell people they need to repent to be saved????? Bet very few.

This is actually stupid. I can't believe something in your mind thought it was a good idea to put this junk online. I can't even wrap my head around how many mental illnesses are necessary for someone to take something like ALS Ice BUcket Challenge and nonsensically warp it into some reverse-baptism satanic ritual. You sir need to take your computer, thrown it in a river, and save the rest of the internet from any future posts you may think are a good idea.

as with most people who have absolutely no spiritual discernment or relevant education and instead embrace ignorance and falsehood you get your information from untrustworthy fly by night sources such as the cult forum and cultist's blog you just linked to...

the fact is that steeples have nothing to do with obelisks and obelisks are not phallic symbols...obelisks symbolized rays of light and the building of church towers predates the points that were eventually added to the tops of the towers...and neither are connected to baal worship...

I get my education about such matters from history and the Bible, not from what a teacher or pastor might say. You're wrong on this, but it wouldn't be the first time on here I've seen you harden your neck when something has challenged your comfortable view of things. You're a lot like the liberal politician who, rather than come up with any substantial rebuttal, will rather label any opposing evidence to your position with ad hominems and strawmen such as "ignorant", "fly by night", or as coming from a "cult". By the way, the pillars don't require a point at the top.
I would lay down my last dollar that you didn't read a word of the articles.
Keep coming back to state, by fiat, that your opinion is right, though. You're just upset because I'm stating the truth about a tradition of men that you apparently hold dear.

Ralph Woodrow actually did some research and found out The Two Babylons was a bunch of lies and poor scholarship (I've read great slabs and it's interesting, for fiction). He then wrote a book to bring correction: The Babylon Connection. It never sold as well as his first book. I wonder why.

Any more opinions you'd like to give? I get a chuckle out of those who cling tenaciously to something because of the tradition it engenders. Truth be damned, I guess.

No, it's not necessarily a sign of truth. The Two Babylons has sold very well. The book that refutes it: The Babylon Connection? It hasn't sold very well. And the latter book of the two is the truth and the former is the one that's clung to tenaciously because of tradition and an anti-Catholic sentiment amongst many Christians.
